My boyfriend and I picked up two subs for lunch and one was sopping wet (Greek grilled chicken wrap) and the other one was dry as a bone (steak tip sub) with very little steak. I wish I could say something positive about our food, but that’s it.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered chili poppers, meatballs, and a pepperoni pizza. The poppers turned out to be jalapeño poppers and were standard fare. The meatballs were OK, a little on the chewy side. The pizza was also OK, a crust with no crisp and too much cheese for the sauce. There was a very nice lady running the front counter. On a scale from 0-10, I would rate this 7.9.

Smash hit – can’t get enough of this place.
Right off, the folks who work here are fantastic. Friendliest staff of any pizza joint in the area.* And the food matches the staff. Great stuff from a pretty substantial menu.
Pizza, with its perfect Greek crust, is the go-to here. And I go for the Meat Supreme possibly way too much. Zest, smokey, chewy, peppery, crispy, juicy, salty – it covers everything you need in life on a Monday night. Physicians tell me I can’t have Meat Supremes everyday so I’ll mix in the occasional mushroom & onion or other similarly healthy combos.
Or I get a salad. I actually get a lot of Great Woods’ salads because they are tasty and big. As in wicked huge. I’m a fan of the Greek Salad w/ Grilled Chicken but I lean towards the Antipasto. It’s the closest thing to a loaded, giant Italian grinder you can eat while being convinced you made a healthy meal choice. It is also ridiculous in size. Loaded with cold cuts & provolone I usually save half for later while still having a big salad to eat.
Last week I added grilled chicken (for just $2.50) to the Antipasto because the online prompt finally convinced me. The salad I got (pictured below) was a true bag-buster. 12 bucks, feeds a family of 4…
My daughter stands by their pastas and my son ranks their steak grinders as awesome.
*Seriously, almost all the pizza places around Foxborough-Mansfield region are staffed by people in need of more hugs or comedy or clown school. Cranky folks! Except for the guy at MHOP – exceptionally pleasant, always smiling.

Lived in Mansfield for a decade, and always loved Great Woods Pizza. Everytime we’re back in town (moved to Maine) we get wings, onion rings, and fries to go. They never miss. 5 stars.

I was starving driving and saw this place and stopped. 1st of all i was inpressed when I walked in, everyone was so nice.
Most of the Bacon Cheeseburger sub I got was amazing. The bread was perfect, the burgers were cooked perfectly anf the bacon was crisp.
What a wonderful place to find today. Ill be back, and I have to try their breakfast sometime.

Kathy and her staff are awesome! We placed a large team order for delivery as we were in the area for an away game. Everything we ordered was delicious, made correctly, and the perfect temperature. I cannot say enough good things about Great Woods Pizza! I personally enjoyed the shrimp alfredo, and my players liked their salads, pizza, pasta, and sandwiches. Great staff, great communication, great food.

Last week the food was 5+ stars amazing and delicious. This week SAME ORDER was almost raw, and did not taste the same. I had to put it in the oven when I got home to cook it longer. very surprised at the difference. Based on the inconsistency maybe the weekends have more seasoned cooks and the teenagers on weekdays don’t know what they’re doing?
