Good Chinese food at great prices. The service is excellent. It’s feels like an old school neighborhood place. Genuinely kind and friendly people. Very fast service.

The dining area is dim and very quiet. It could use a makeover and music.

Overall, I would definitely recommend.

We love ❤️ Great Wok The food never disappoints and is always Hot & Fresh!! They’re definitely an Ahwatukee gem and local favorite. We’ve been eating here for years, and it’s our go to take out. Family owned and operated. Call in your order and help support local. The lunch specials are a deal. We always order extra to have leftovers. The Hot & Sour Soup is the best!!

We ordered delivery to our nearby hotel. We ordered crispy potstickers and shrimp egg foo yung. The potstickers were good but not great, but the sauce for the egg foo yung was orange and pretty much tasteless. Not a good experience!

The BEST! Food is delicious- their lunch special is unbeatable! I recommend getting the hot & sour soup (you won’t regret it!). My husband is obsessed with this place, he loves the pork fried rice. 10/10!

Definitely the best take out in the area for the price. The restaurant has the typical dishes for a Chinese takeout and they are fresh and well made. The hot and sour soup is well balanced and flavorful, quite spicy but not too hot to eat. One of my favorite dishes here is the chicken with snow peas because it’s lightly flavored and they give a good amount of vegetables.

If you are ever in a hurry, Great Wok is the place to go because they are fast. Everytime we order by phone, the food is ready by the time we arrive about 10-15 minutes later.

I believe the owner’s wife runs the front of the restaurant and she is always friendly while being efficient.

Meals are like homemade comfort food. We definitely will be back!

Picked up confirmed my order with the lady upfront. Repeated verbatim my order. Got home wrong order. Tried to charge me extra money to get my correct order I told her I’d bring the order I didn’t want back. So I did – she told me she was throwing the old order away. I’m dumbfounded after the multiple communication errors from her she didn’t just let us keep the old order. Never said sorry. Awful customer service needs to be fired. Spent a lot of money there over the years I’ve been here not going back.

We love great wok. My family and I frequent it, it’s the best in the area and we love the family who runs it. Super friendly and great service. Big fans of the house fried rice, egg drop soup, and steamed veggies!

We placed our to go order on a weekend and had it ready to pick up within the stated 20-minute time frame.

We ordered the House Egg Foo Young, Tri- Star Mongolian (not pictured), and the Cantonese Lo Mein.

The foo young was decent and flavorful. It had 4 large patties and a good amount of gravy on the side. It could have been a bit crisper, but not bad. The lo mein was mediocre. The portion size was huge with a lot of meat, but it lacked flavor and seasoning. The Tri-Star was…. SWEET. The description on the menu didn’t indicate that it would be sweet, just that it was a house brown sauce, so we thought we’d give it a try. Unfortunately, it was so sweet that we couldn’t taste anything in the dish and ended up throwing the whole item out.

The service was your run of the mill Chinese spot – hurry you in and out, not overly nice but not rude. Overall, we’d probably try this place again, maybe checking out other dishes.

We ordered cashew chicken and beef broccoli for lunch. We also had hot and sour soup.
The food was awful. It was tasteless and the soup was extremely salty.
We are tempted to go back and ask for a refund.
When you walk into the restaurant, it smells foul.
Don’t go to this restaurant.

Waitress did not bring menus. Came to ask us what we wanted, told her we didn’t have menus. We ended up grabbing 4 to go menus and she eventually returned to our table with ONE TO GO MENU for 4 people? Food was delicious and hot too! Service was just not there!
