This spot really impressed me! The lemon pepper wings were outstanding—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with just the right balance of citrus and pepper. The crab rangoon was a perfect companion, golden and crunchy with a creamy, flavorful filling. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. I personally can say the customer service was everything. Very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality Chinese food!

I’ve visited Great Wok on Simpson Rd twice now, and both times the food has been delicious! The first time I had the Chicken Lo Mein, which was really tasty, and today I came back for the egg rolls. The lady at the front is always so kind and friendly, which makes the experience even better.
I also love that they have food allergy warnings posted on the wall — it shows they really care about their customers’ safety and comfort.
I did notice a strong odor in the restaurant both times I visited — not sure what it is — even though the place looks quite clean compared to other spots I’ve been to.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend Great Wok for their good food, friendly service, and attention to customer needs, even if the smell is a bit unusual.

Great food and welcoming atmosphere! Shrimp lo mein is my favorite and theirs is the best I’ve ever had! Noodles are not too oily or soggy and good amount of shrimp.

Tried this place for takeout based on reviews and location and had a great experience. Ordering and pickup were smooth and friendly, with sauces and utensils included without asking. They even confirmed the order before I left. The food was flavorful and delicious. I’ll definitely be back.

Have been looking for good chinese food in the area and this is definitely the best one. First they were friendly and accommodating to my several annoying requests without pushback as most other restaurants do (hate peas in the rice and prefer to have saucy foods on the side). They then also included a lovely calendar along with the meal. The food was great and I especially loved the fried rice and chicken with broccoli. My search for the best chinese food here is over and I will definitely continue coming back here.

Wow Came here from California but I’m originally from DC and let me tell you this carry out reminds me of back home I got a steak n cheese egg roll and spicy shrimp lo mein yall it was bomb and I haven’t had a good carry out since I left DC … California Chinese food are under heat lamps I hate it here…now I’m sitting home in California looking at the menu lmaooo like dang I should have got the egg foo young Thank you Great Wok for excellent service
