The Great Wall Restaurant is truly a staple in this city—I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, with quiet traditional Chinese music playing in the background. It sets the perfect tone for a relaxing meal.
The staff is always warm and welcoming. They remember the little details you share with them and even follow up when you come back, which honestly makes it feel like family every time I visit.
The food here has never disappointed. I always recommend the fried rice, and their tea is a must-have every single visit. My family and I have made it a tradition to try something new from the menu each time we come. After over 10 years of visiting, I recently discovered they serve roasted duck, and it turned out to be one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
Personally, I love their lemon chicken—it’s the perfect balance of zesty and sweet. Their wonton soup is also a must-try, with generous portions that always hit the spot. My brother usually goes for the beef and broccoli, and the beef is so tender it practically melts in your mouth, while the broccoli is always cooked just right.
Recently, we also tried the pepper shrimp with jalapeños. The shrimp was breaded and crispy on the outside but still moist and perfectly cooked on the inside. The combination of flavors made it another dish I’d highly recommend.
Between family dinners and casual outings, I probably come here at least once a month with my brother or other family members. I’ve collected plenty of photos from all the times we’ve gone, and each visit just reminds me why Great Wall has been one of my favorite restaurants for years.

Went here as a little treat to my family. Received the worst service possible. After waiting 40 minutes of no food or appetizers, and being spoken to very rudely by staff, we ended up taking our money elsewhere.
Literally watched others be sat 20 minutes after us and get their food while we waited after ordering.
When we asked the waitress literally looked my husband up&down in a judgmental way and shoo’d us off, couldn’t even pretend to care or say she’d let our waitress know or anything. “Great” experience showing our young little ladies how we get treated differently when out with their dad as he gets constantly profiled and mistreated with how he looks.

I love this place and am grateful it is still around. It was my family’s favorite dinner spot when I was a kid and we just went for the first time in years. Food was delicious. They bring dishes out at soon as they are ready so everything is hot. I recommend wor wonton soup, cho chos, paper wrap chicken, cashew chicken, kung pao chicken, and of course fried rice. We started off with hot tea and wonton chips for the table.

My family spent a good amount here and this had been our worst experience with food yet. There was way too much salt in the rice, we got the fried rice and could smell the sodium. While opening the orange chicken it wasn’t properly cooked and it seemed that the food we were given was not freshly made despite being made the same day. Never in my life had I ever had the urge to write a review about bad food as I have now.

Since moving here from LA there isn’t a lot of good options. But not this place, no regrets discovering this place. Food ACTUALLY has amazing flavors compared to other places. My go-to dish is the Barbeque Pork Fried rice. They put some love into their food because no other places taste that good

I had the honey walnut shrimp. It was really good.I just wish they had given me some vegetables to have with it besides rice. I did come in with quite a few people. So we were a big table. It felt like they were coming to service us slowly. It didn’t seem very busy.It was one in the afternoon and on a Monday. I come here once a year, if that. I would come back for the honey shrimp.

Was just visiting Lancaster for a Dr’s appointment and asked the nurse where to go for great Chinese food. Without skipping a beat she said, “Great Wall restaurant!” Well she wasn’t lying! The food was phenomenal!! Fresh and authentic. From the little “set up” (egg roll, wonton and paper wrapped chicken) that comes with your meal to the entree you order. Everything was awesome. The service is also great and the atmosphere is really cool. If your a local or just visiting, make sure you give Great Wall restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed.

Seated fast. This is a long time visit for us. Many years we have come. Over the years it has declinded in the general area. The parking lot was dirty with lots of trash out front. Inside looks exactly the same as coming here as a kid. Major blast from the past. Egg drop soup and wonton soup are both amazing. The orange chicken has great flavor. Tastes like dark meat. Kung poa beef is good. Not spicy at all. The wontons, chips, egg rolls are my favorite!! Chowmein was ok. The star is the spicy mustard! Wow! Packs a punch! The service was fantastic. Everyone who took care of us today was so kind!
