Nice quiet atmosphere. Huge huge portions for a very reasonable price. The food itself is amazing as well. Staff very friendly and willing to slightly modify order to meet kids wants.

This place never misses. I’ve been coming here for a long time and I’ve never had a bad experience — dining in or with takeout. The food is always hot, fresh, and consistent. Portions are solid, flavors are on point, and the service is dependable every single time. Old-school quality, no shortcuts. If you want Chinese food you can count on, this is it.

Service was absolutely amazing and the food was very delicious. We had ordered the Pad thai and the Szechuan beef. Both were really delicious and next time I would add a little more spice. Also the pad thai is more of a Chinese Lo mein dish but still good. The lunch menu is small but the soup and sides were also good. Will be back to try new items next time.

Hey guys, we are vacationing in Rapid City from Philadelphia. We have gone to a lot of Chinese restaurants over the years. I have to tell you this is one of the best restaurants I have been in. The food was plentiful and excellent. The service was very quick and pleasant. They have a lovely dining room with a beautiful aquarium with three large fish that just relax you as you watch them. I never thought I would find such a great Chinese restaurant in Rapid City.

Not really sure why but the last 2 times we have ordered take out it has been wrong. This last time they forgot my soup and the beef and broccoli was not made right. Beef and broccoli is just that not all the other added veggies that were in it. This was the first time I have ever seen other things in it. I guess it will be awhile before we order again.

I had General tso, and wife did orange chicken. Both dishes looked like fry scraps, old breading from previous dishes. Our breading on our main dishes
soggy, the crab rangoos were cold and chewy not fresh. The sweet & sour pork was tough. Our third try. 1st time good. Last 2 times not good won’t go back.

I am so glad I started going to Great Wall for great Asian Food. All others in RC don’t compare. Food is always flavorful, perfectly cooked fresh vegetables & meats, good verity, appetizers are exactly the way I like them. Orders to-go are efficiently prepared, on time & well packaged so everything is still hot when we sit down to eat.

My husband an I liked this place. Both of our food was good, hot and large portions. I thought the price seemed a little high, but like I said we had a large portion, I took half home for left overs. Friendly staff, clean dining room. Overall we were impressed and will go back again.

The food was good. We ordered the family style tofu and the beef ho fun. The tofu dish has fried tofu with broccoli, carrots, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, snow peas and mushrooms. The service was very good and the restaurant was clean. The bathroom was also clean. We will be coming back 🙂

Ordered take out. General Tso’s Spicy chicken. I was there before the food was ready so I know it didn’t sit. A 7 minute drive to the hotel, and I open very overcooked, very mushy chicken, and no utensils. Disappointing.
But hey, at least they still have their 2 star quality award from 1995 proudly displayed.
Will not order again.
