I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since they opened, on namesake alone. But I’m very glad I did.
The food was excellently made, great portions for an affordable price. The cashier helped me practice my Chinese, and the food was ready in no time at all. I got the Kung pao chicken and the almond chicken. And the egg roll! Oh so good…
Nothing but good things to say about this place. You get a family style feeling, and many will say nothing beats home cooking.

Great Wall is a pretty solid local Chinese restaurant. It’s important to note that it’s takeout only so there is no indoor seating (that is why I gave the atmosphere a 3). The food is good and it’s a good value. If you get a combo meal like I did, it comes with rice, and an egg roll. For takeout Chinese food, it’s really solid! Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for some quick Chinese food!

I used to think this place was the best Chinese takeout…. Until 3 days ago. I ordered a large Chicken fried rice for $9.75 and what I got was questionable at best. Bland, no flavor whatsoever, yellow rice with huge chunks of onion and bits of rubber-looking, tasteless “chicken” bits. It did not look, nor have the texture of chicken meat. I thought it was tofu but the receipt had it listed as chicken. No peas or carrots to add variety and flavor and no scrambled egg bits like every fried rice recipe has. Never again. Very disappointing and do not recommend.

Absolute trash!!! Small portions and cheap too. I just ordered the Kung Pao w/ scallops. They gave me 4 scallops. A TON of peanuts and chopped vegetables. Everything tasted terrible. They suck. Sharing a picture. Trust me, it tastes way WORSE than it looks, and that’s not saying much! Also, this dish has peanuts, WHOLE peanuts. Thank God I don’t have a nut allergy. It isn’t listed on the menu. Run, don’t walk to a different restaurant.

I’ve tried a lot of Chinese takeout spots over the years, but this one blows the rest out of the water. The food was piping hot, super fresh, and packed with flavor. The General Tso’s chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right balance of sweet and spicy, and the fried rice? Chef’s kiss. Even the egg rolls were golden, crunchy perfection.
The service was fast and friendly, and everything was packaged neatly so nothing spilled on the way home. Honestly, this is going to be my new go-to for comfort food nights. Highly recommend!

Human spicy chicken combination plate is my go-to dish with an extra egg roll. Plenty of food for two good size meals. Sometimes I will get the chicken with garlic sauce combination plate. These two are my favorites and both are very good. I have had other selections such as beef with broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, or Kungpao chicken. All are very good. I have been ordering from here for years. Pleasant staff and quick service.

Very mediocre food. My take out Lo-mein and hot sour soup both had a mild ‘eggy smell’. Also I got an egg shell in the soup. Seems they are taking shortcuts in preparing the food. Not careful enough. Not going again.
