I will never expect to have wonderful Asian food in country towns. But life is always come with a little supprice. In a hot day, we walk into a nice and cool restaurant, We have ordered Singapore noodles, and pork laksa, they were unexpected taste good. I can say it is even better than some restaurants in Sydney. Very unexpected, the prices are even cheaper than Sydney. The service is excellent, the lady serving us is very friendly and smiles to the customers. After lunch, She even tells us the best ice cream in town. Definitely, I would highly recommended, and surely will come back if we’re in town.

I’ve been to this restaurant before, love the seafood spring rolls, and used to be served by a nasty young Caucasian female with dark hair whenever visiting. Seriously, rude every single time.
I dined in 19/11/2025 after avoiding the business for more than a year, and was disappointed to find that nothing has changed – except that the obnoxious young woman wasn’t there.
This time I was served by a graceless and abrupt middle-aged Asian woman. Most refreshing to be served by an exotic form of rude.
This woman seemed bewildered that I wanted to dine in taking a few seconds to mull this over before telling me to seat myself by nodding carelessly at the dining area. Lovely.
I knew what I wanted, my order was taken promptly, entree was served promptly, then I waited… and waited… and waited. Thirty+ minutes later the mains finally arrived. On a busy night this kind of wait time would be expected and no issue. However, that night the restaurant was dead and no ringing phones were heard up front or in the kitchen. It was only towards the end of my meal that custom picked up a little (around 7pm).
The middle-aged woman was paying close attention when I had finished and raced over with containers apparently enthusiastic for me to leave.
I made no fuss, no noise, no demands, and no mess. I also did not linger.
I’m left to assume that this business does NOT like solo diners, or fat people. Strange. We order a lot… is that not good for business?

Once we ordered, anything else we needed…. Takeaway container, the bill, etc we had to walk over to the girl on her phone, and ask for. I was considering another drink or dessert, but never saw a server other than the one on her phone. The food was good, it was typical Chinese food. Portions were decent. But yeah, service lacked

Now the new go to destination for a great succulent Chinese meal! Came here by chance as the place we use to go to was closed for no reason. Glad it was, as this place was fantastic. Food was fresh, hot and good value. Will be back again for sure!

We had 7 course banquet. They served nearly every dish at the same time even though we asked three times to slow down. Food was very bland and all dishes tasted the same loaded with veggies and little beef and chicken. Cheap but average.
