I so wanted to love this place since I just moved into the neighborhood. I’ve been eating General Tso Chicken or Tofu for 25 years and this wasn’t it. It supposed to be the color of Bordeaux, a burgundy color, not yellow#5 and red #6. It also says online that it’s $8.99 for the combo n $1.69 for the egg rolls but it was $10.99 and $2.10. As u can see in the pic, I’m very confused on what part of the chicken I’m being served, the neck? And where did the shrimp come from?

This review is mainly for anyone visiting from NY or NJ… This is not chinese food. I don’t know what people around here eat, but this place would never make it where I live. I can’t tell the difference (taste or look) between white rice and fried rice. A bite of egg roll will have grease dripping off your elbow. The broccoli was OK I guess. So then I read the reviews and saw how the chicken was stored. Let’s just hope we don’t all get sick from the couple bites we took.

Happy we gave them a try! The tofu entrees (sesame and kung pao) were very tasty and full of flavor! We ordered delivery and accidentally gave them a wrong address- but the driver was still very friendly and gave us no grief. Happy to know that they are in the neighborhood and will order them again.

I’ve literally been here over 50 times over the my nearly 6 years in the city, maybe 60+ visits at this point. They’re short with you but polite and efficient. Killer Colfax location too. My go-to is General Tso’s combo with white rice (includes broccoli and egg roll). Basic and just what I crave sometimes. They struggled through the Covid era, like every other restaurant around, and when they finally opened back up I said genuinely “We really missed you guys!” to which he quickly happily replied “Missed you too!”

This Chinese food is average. Egg Drop soup not great. The schezuan beef did not have enough beef, lots of veggies. The chicken lo mein noodles were very thick- I’m used to seeing thinner noodles- tasted decent. The shrimp egg roll are not anything special.

The maitre d greeted us with a warm smile and walked us to the table with the best view (see photo). We declined the sommelier’s service and opted for Perrier instead. The wait staff was prompt with our order. The chefs obviously studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and created a masterpiece that the honorable General Tso would be proud of. Every bite was a delight and the ambience was exquisite. I would give this 6 instead of 5 stars if I could. My only complaint is that they lack valet service.

I ordered food & after waiting for over an hour and a half, the delivery driver finally showed up, and would not give me my food until I gave him a tip! I felt like I was being extorted for the tip for delivery! So to get the delivery driver to leave and to give me my food that I already paid for, I gave a $2 tip! The food was cold & their was hair in the chicken chow mein. I normally only leave good reviews of good places that offer very good service! Being in the top 10% of Google reviewers in the Denver metro area when it comes to restaurants, I feel I have the responsibility to let others know before they make the mistake and order food for delivery from this restaurant!

This place has been here for years and it’s always looked the same. The food is pretty good and very inexpensive. There is no atmosphere, no dining, it’s all to go but it’s impressive for Colfax
