Mediocre at best!
Ordered shrimp with mixed veggies to go with a hot and sour soup, and a some sort of veggie and bean curd soup.
Good size shrimps, generous portion but I didn’t like the fact they had used too much corn starch for the sauce. By the time I made it to my truck the food got cold and kinda got thick and sticky. It turned into a giant veggie block !
Hot and sour soup was tasty but lacking a lot of the required ingredients like black fungi, bamboo shoots and many other.
The bean curd and veggies soup was a pure disaster.

Food was very good , cold as heck when i went to get my food while waiting so i just sat in my car. $40 to feed 2 people 2 order of sesame chicken, 2 orders of small white rice, crab rangoo, 2 eggrolls , small order of chicken fried rice because i actually didn’t want the white rice in the 1st place. I had food delivered. Gen Tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, chicken on a stick, and crab rangoons. All was very good. I wish they would open their dining area again though.

Very appreciative for being open Thanksgiving when I am stuck in a hotel with 3 small children and limited options for dinner. Mongolian chicken was fresh and amazing, kids devoured teriyaki chicken and shrimp lo mein. Fried rice was just ehh and fortune cookies were stale. Will definitely check them out when back in the area.

The food is great, people keep saying that the family that owns it live there, but idk, the family is there during the day, but they are probably the ones cooking the food, I think people might think that because they have kid cartoos playing in the back, but that is probably just for the kids to watch be cause they can’t get a baby sitter, the food is still great tho

I had Moogoo gaipan (spelling idk) that was very good and fresh. I ordered egg rolls and crab Rangoon but both tasted like they were either reheated or kept under the warming lamp way too long. I went here since online lists them as a buffet but they no longer offer buffet or seating to diner in, very disappointed.

I’ve ate here on and off for the last 20+ years every since it was on south meridian and main st. Every few years a different group of people come to run the restaurant usually from New York and the food never changes was always fresh and great. Unfortunately when the last group took over and then covid hit. I don’t know what happened but the buffet never opened back up and I’ve tried take out multiple times and the food quality is absolutely disgusting. I used to eat there twice a week prior to this new group running it I’ve supported small local businesses but I can’t support this one any longer. DONT NOT EAT HERE THE QUALITY IS NOT GOOD
