I love this place! It has many different options you can choose from. Everytime I have went the food has always been fresh. The staff is really friendly and always filling up your drinks. The price isn’t too bad considering it’s a buffet and is cheaper than the others located around me. The peanut butter chicken is my favorite at this location! The seafood donut is also very good. They are always filling up the food and keeping it fresh. The weekends are busy especially right when they open. If you choose to go later in the day it is still fresh! The place is clean including the bathrooms. I am a frequent visitor of this location and have not had any issues. This restaurant is good to bring children as well! They have mac & cheese, onion rings, chicken nuggets, fish and many more options for kids to choose from! Stop by and give it a try if you haven’t already!

Go when it’s fresh. On second thought…don’t. we went today at lunchtime and it still wasn’t great. It used to be delicious, but not the last few times we’ve gone. I keep hoping it will be what it once was.

Great Wall has been a staple of Huntington for over a decade. They are the sole survivor of the great Chinese Buffet wars of the early 2000’s, when King’s Garden and Hong Kong duked it out for the hearts and stomachs of Huntington’s hungriest citizens.

They feature a small, but focused buffet with all of your typical westernized Chinese dishes spread across 4 tables and a whole section for ice cream. If you come during peak times, the food is always hot and fresh. It can be a dice roll in the off times, but the last time we were there at about 3, everything was great.

The owner seems like he’s always there. That guy is one of the hardest working people in town. All of the staff are courteous and timely with service.

If you want to grab take-out, they give you a box and you can fill ‘er up with as much as you would like.

You don’t have many choices in Huntington, but fortunately your only one is pretty decent.

The selection of food was great, very impressive. Unfortunately of all the dishes I tried, only one was hot. Most were barely warm and a couple were actually cold. It’s really too bad because the restaurant was clean, the price very reasonable, the staff attentive and the selection excellent. Maybe they just need to turn up the temperature on the steam tables.

The atmosphere of this restaraunt is very nice compared to many other Chinese buffets, the dining room well-decorated and clean, very tasteful.
Unfortunately many of staples of Chinese Buffet – crab rangoon or lo mein for example – were not very tasteful. Many of the staple dishes were either very chewy or not very flavorful, although I can’t complain about their egg rolls, General Tso’s chicken, and their pepper shrimp. Their onions were undercooked to the “normal” standard, though I enjoy them like that. The foods labeled spicy were not spicy at all either. Otherwise, the buffet itself had lots and lots of options. One does not often see Egg Foo Young at a buffet, and that dish was quite unique and tasty.
The bathroom was not the cleanest, though not bad. If you cam back, it would be for General Tso’s because nowhere else around here makes it good.
I am also a little appalled at 30 dollars for two people at a buffet… I do not personally find that reasonable.

There was a screw in the mai phan. I had bit down on the screw which punctured my gum.The owner admitted that the kitchen staff complained that the pot lids were loose and he said it came from the lid. The owner offered to replace the dish. There is no way I can eat the food they prepare.
