I think they sold the restaurant or gave it to someone. Been coming here for years being my favorite chinese restaurant. The general two’s chicken was my opinion best in the state being it was a different sticky kind of sauce. Now its generic general tsos. Haven’t seen the normal family thats had it for years working the last 2 times I visited. Sad to say

Highly disappointed…again! Decided to give it another try, but it is definitely the last time we’ll pay for food that ends up in the trash. Even the fortune cookie was stale and tasted like cardboard! Great Wall, please pay attention to your reviews and take steps to be able to offer excellent food to this community that has supported you. We deserve MUCH better!!!!

I have been trying this place since they opened. Wasn’t never great but sometimes okay but the new ownership has turned it around from my first experience with them. Sesame Chicken was way better than before and the Crab Rangoon was way better than before as well. If you have had a bad experience here before, i suggest trying this place again with the new ownership.

Highly disappointed – been getting take out from this place since they opened.
Tonight I ordered the House Special Lo Mein and a spring roll.
First off the spring roll was piping hot, but once I bit into it I understood why it was so hot – it was full of grease – almost like it was cooked more than once. Terrible flavor.
Secondly, the Lo Mein had no meat in it – plenty of water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, onions and carrot slivers. The noodle tasted like there were cooked last week and stored in the lo mein sauce.
The only thing positive is this crap was ready very fast.

How can you ruin egg foo yung?? Burn it!! I specifically asked when I placed my order that the chef/cook not burn the egg foo yung since they’ve burned it before. The person taking my order sarcastically reminded me that it’s fried, as if to say burning it was the way to prepare it. Well, they burned it again!! It was inedible!!

Worst food I’ve ever put in my mouth. Crab Rangoon tasted rotten. General TSOs chicken didn’t taste anything like general tsos or chicken. I’m really not a picky eater but this was just terrible. I hope I don’t get good poisoning from the 2 bites I took. Had to throw it all away I wouldn’t even risk giving this to my dog. Place needs to be shut down ASAP!
Update: I got food poisoning have been throwing up non stop.

We eat here at least once a week. The folks are very, very sweet and the food is always hot and right on time. We are obsessed with their soups. We are lucky to have them down here in our little neck of the woods!

Food was flavorless. Had a very simple meal pork fried rice (rice was overcooked with no flavor and chewy pork), hot and sour soup and a nice kick but was almost all broth and stuff that was in it was chewy and flavorless. Egg rolls were good but super greasy and to wrap it all up no fortune cookies. 🙁
Based on this simple meal and lack of flavor and subpar quality I would not return or even try anything else from them.

This was my first and last visit! Let me be clear….I do not give bad reviews unless they are deserved! I try to give folks the benefit of doubt and always try to find some positives every where I go. BUT, my experience was horrible. I hate they didn’t even attempt to give me something edible and this was my 1st visit! Honestly, I have NEVER had such an experience with any other Chinese restaurant and hope I never do again. Had an order for a Sesame chicken combo with an extra shrimp roll. The chicken was so tough that you couldn’t eat it. The sauce was thick, very dark, and WAY too sweet…taste was of burned molasses. The egg roll was so hard you could barely bite into it, once you did, it was questionable as to what was in it. It was as though both had sat there all day, they threw the chicken back in to heat it and they fried the egg rolls again. They should be ashamed of sending that out the door! Sorry for the long review but I feel it necessary to describe my experience. BTW my positives are the fried rice was nice and fresh and the order was ready on time. But no, I did not call them to complain and I didn’t take the order back. The damage was already done as far as I’m concerned! I’m sure others have had very positive experiences and great food…I just chose the wrong dish on the wrong day! This was 6 in the afternoon, where everything should have been freshly cooked! Someone fell down on their quality control! Wish I had thought to take pictures.

I’ve never left a low review for any dining establishment, however, I must state my opinion of this restaurant. If I could give a -1 I would. Today was the first time we’ve ever ordered from this take out place and we were highly disappointed. None of the meals we ordered had any flavor. The egg rolls are tiny and drenched in oil. Had to use 7 napkins, no exaggeration, to pat out as much grease as possible. In addition, they didn’t have much filling rather mostly egg roll wrapper. The pork fried rice had hardly any pork which is probably a good sign because it may have made me more sick. It wasn’t long before the sesame chicken sent me to the bathroom. The pieces of battered fried chicken were mostly batter and fried extra crispy so more than half the pieces were inedible. I don’t even want to get into the other menu items we ordered where we ended up throwing everything away eating barely any of it. Lastly, the guy who answers the phone must hate his job because he is very sarcastic and accused me of calling prior. Usually I give all places at least a second try but trust me when I say this is the FIRST & LAST time we will give them any business. Bad attitude with bad product is a recipe for disaster. I wondering if the state food inspectors have visited this establishment the last few years because by the looks of the negative reviews they go back at least 3 years. I think it’s time they are reported and shut down. People reporting hair in their food and cooks wiping their nose is quite disgusting.
