Ordered the chicken lo mein and wonton soup. First let me say the young man at the register needs to learn a bit of customer service. He literally snatched the charge receipt out of my hand and was less than courteous. Anywho, they give you a nice quantity of food for the price. The rice isn’t the typical ‘yellow’ rice but it has good flavor. The lo mein was also delicious. Despite the lack of customer service, I’ll likely order here again.

Ordered vegetable egg foo young, rice was good, gravy was good, egg foo young bad! I was served mixed frozen, vegetables in my patties. I’m use to fresh veggies, broccoli, snow peas etc. Needless to say very disappointed. I’ll never return for that again.

I gave this place a try and it was really good! I called in a to go order around 845 and I was worried I’d miss them before they closed. I got there right at 9 and my food was ready to go. The lady was really nice. I ordered the General Tso’s chicken combo. The chicken was hot and crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The white rice was perfect. I’ve been going to the same place for the a long time before this but I’ll definitely be coming back here once in a while.

My family and I just moved to the Kempsville area. When we first got here we were having a hard time finding a GOOD Chinese restaurant that we didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for. The first couple of places we tried were horrible! We finally decided to give Great Wall a try and I am so glad we did. They have great customer service, the food is good, great size portions, the pricing is reasonable and the delivery is super fast! We even called 15 minutes before closing one night and they took our order with no problem and delivered it plus the food was fresh! I love this place.

Disappointing first visit. Yes, the atmosphere and service were good, but our Lg. Beef w. Broccoli was mostly broccoli. There was very little beef. And the Spring Roll (Vegetable) (2) were meh at best.

For a store front Chinese, this is a great value for Chinese food. It has the best General Tso Chicken around, even when compared to some of the higher end restaurants. The staff has always been friendly and has always been willing to separate the rice from the meal when ordering a combo. I have been going here for the last 6-7 years.

We have been customers of this place since 2019, never once did we have a bad experience. We always get their fried chicken wings, egg rolls, lunch specials: boneless spare ribs, sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein. The lady who takes orders over the phone is always very prompt and nice; when I go to pick up, our order is always ready, hot and fresh. We order from Great Wall once every other week and always look forward to it!

Great place for your Chinese food needs. They have the full gamut of selections like any Chinese fast food restaurant. The items are cooked to order and you can call ahead, order online or order in person. I usually order in person since it’s made relatively quickly. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current respiratory hygiene guidelines. Recommended.
