This place used to be worth its cheap price, but today I had to throw away my general tso. Every single piece of general tso “chicken” was just fried dough. There was not 1 piece of chicken in sight. Zoom into my picture to see – these are the large pieces. Buyer beware. $40 meal (3 items)

This has to be the WORST “chinese” food I have ever had. I have no idea what this vegetable “fried” rice is but it is a clump of starchy rice that is a weird yellow color and tastes like something I cannot even describe. There are really NO vegetables to speak of We also got boneless spareribs and they are off texture again weird tasting. We threw $30 in the trash. yes, we threw it all out. Never again.

I always order from here and never have a complaint. However today I was eating my chicken lo mein no veggies with pork fried rice and a shard of metal got stuck in the back of my throat causing me to start choking. I know accidents happen but this could have been way worse as I was going to share this with my daughter !

We have been going to Great Wall for many years as it is our local Chinese restaurant. This week officially marked the last time we will ever order from them again. Over the past few months the food has been getting a bit worse and less meat has been given each order. The straw that broke the camels back was this week when our order of chicken had more visible cooking oil in the package than it did sauce. Absolutely inexcusable and when we called to let them know we were hung up on. We called back only to hear that they were “sorry” no offer to remake it or anything. Left with inedible food and horrible customer service. We will be taking our business elsewhere permanently.

Ordered for delivery. I made a mistake on my order. I quickly called them to fix it a time thing. The young girl on the phone couldn’t fix my order. Call another number on my email. He fixed.

Boy did I learn a lesson. Probably will not order from them again. Food is definitely not what I was expecting. The General so chicken is chicken nuggets with a sticky sauce poured over them no heat or hardly any flavor. The nuggets are the size of pink pong balls. The fried rice is like it came out of a steamer bag. I am not sure how the rest of my family feels but I am sure they agree. They definitely agree no flavor in the food.

This is a poorly run restaurant. I highly recommend that you avoid it if you value your own health and safety. I can excuse the occasionally messed up order that necessitates a return trip to get what I paid for; I know nobody is perfect. I can excuse an occasional bug in a meal; I know nobody is perfect. It’s inexcusable to find a metal shard from a grill brush in my combo meal. This could have easily resulted in me owing tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills if this had punctured my stomach or esophagus. I will never return here and have filed a complaint with the Delaware Department of Health.

We recently ordered from Great Wall after many years of ordering and the food was VERY oily and easily seen in the food. We called about it and the first person hung up on us and when we called back and explained that someone hung up on us they said sorry and that was it. Many restaurants would have said sorry, come back in and we will redo your order.

This is standard Chinese takeout food. Because I’m too lazy to drive to other restaurants further away from my house I default to this one. This one delivers to my house.
The food usually arrives hot. But the food is bland. Spicy dishes aren’t spicy. All the sauces are the same for most dishes and don’t challenge the palette.
If you’re not lazy like me, invest the time to drive somewhere else.

I ordered the lunch Sweet and Sour Chicken and Beef and Broccoli. It says it comes each lunch comes with an egg roll or soda. Since I didn’t ask for a soda I expected an egg roll in each lunch comes but didn’t get ANY. I won’t go back there. I hate driving all the one home expecting something only to be short changed. They couldn’t understand my complaint.
