Great Wall is excellent. The food is much, much better than I expect for plaza Chinese. The menu, while formulaic, does have some high points. The salt and pepper shrimp is one. Large shrimp are seasoned and fried and served with fried rice and thinly sliced veg perfectly cooked.

Orange flavored beef has also been excellent every time. The wife got this and said it was the best she ever had. It really was great, taste of natural orange. Definitely in house made sauce.

Every other thing I’ve eaten at Great Wall in New Castle has been perfect, and I mean that. There is one reason I think this places food really is so darn good. The fried rice that comes with the meal.

This fried rice has BEAN SPROUTS! Fresh bean sprouts that if you have had them in your fried rice, try it. I am pretty sure I’m not going anywhere else going forward. As long as Great Wall is this good, and bean sprouts in the fried rice, I’m good.

This is by far the worst chinese place I have ever had the misfortune of eating at. NO FLAVOR WHAT SO EVER! We ordered shrimp and chicken lo mein, it was nothing but greasy noodles with vegetables and NO sauce. My daughter got a sweet and sour chicken combo. You could literally squeeze the grease from the chicken and the egg roll. The only reason I bothered to order here was because Golden Wok was closed for some reason. Save yourself money and disappointment and skip this place all together. 40 bucks that’s going straight to the trash can.

The absolute worst Chinese food we have ever had!! Everything is flavorless and gross. We got 4 meals that were over $10 each and all terrible. The “honey chicken” isn’t actually honey chicken like I get everywhere else (photo attached of the sauce)… The sauce comes in a container on the side and it looks & tastes like sugar water, I mean literally zero flavor at all and certainly not honey flavor! My Son said the Shrimp Lo-Mein (both lo-mein and shrimp) had no flavor at all as well. Even the rice is terrible and hard and the chicken fried rice doesn’t look or taste like chicken. Also, they only accept cash, so you will not be able to use a card there. I do not recommend this place at all!!

This is the only Chinese food I’ll eat. Their wonton soup is delicious. I love their chicken in garlic sauce. It’s sooooo good!

I eat here a lot. I been torn on doing a review. Decent prices and the food can be really good. However is like a 50/50 chance. I can’t get the same thing 4 days and a row and 2 days it’s delicious and the other 2 it’s horrible or something wrong with it. Very inconsistent with the food. I mean they mess up white rice.. like how do u mess up white rice as a China take out place. Then guy gets mad when u call to tell him the rice is sticky and thick and the general so is dry and has a nasty seafood taste.

Enjoy the cockroaches after rummaging through the table randomly placed in the restaurant selling used items. You can purchase knives, foreign currency, and for $25, a United States Navy Combat Action Ribbon. Disgusting and will never be back

Whenever we order we get take out! We get the General Tso Chicken and the Crab Rangoon! This is probably my favorite Chinese place in town for what we order. The prices are still good too! The only downside is that the inside hasn’t been renovated in a long time (it’s still the same since I was a child). But other than that the food is good!

The Great Wall has fantastic food, everything I’ve ever gotten from there has been delicious. We order for work, usually 18 lunches, and they’re perfect every time! The Shrimp Lomain is excellent, as are the egg rolls, General Tso’s chicken and well everything. I just can’t say enough good about their food. I don’t think anyone eats in as the dining area is sort of meh, but don’t judge the food by that, just get take out.

Great food for a fair price. Everyone I know loves the food. I have never dined in so I can’t speak on that, but I’ve ordered takeout many times and it’s always been good. Very efficient, also. I usually don’t wait any longer than 10-15 minutes for my order. I highly recommend their food.

Golden wok is miles better. Not worth the money. Service is friendly, theyre great, but food quality is poor. Soup was flavorless and practically inedible. Our roast pork fried rice was missing actual pork and tasted of burnt oil and was totally inedible we had to throw it away. Our fried dumplings were pasty with no sauce , the crab rangoon had absolutely no flavor. The best things we ordered were eggrolls and the boneless spareribs which werent great, but they were edible and we were hungry. The rest of our we had to throw away. I urge you not to spend your money. Golden wok and China Banquet will deliver better quality and their employees follow health code guidelines in the kitchen(not one hat or hairnet in the whole kitchen on anyones head) the Great Walll….is just…a wall and they hit a big one. I dont even want a refund or compensated, they clearly have nothing to offer bur more terrible food.
