Extremely friendly service and delicious food. Real homemade xian’bing, crispy and tasty, remained me of the food from my hometown. Fair prices and generous portions. Would definitely come back and try more from the menu next time I visit Portland.

The fried rice with chicken was very delicious, and so was the Schisandra pear honey tea. The flavor was incredible. I can recommend Great Tong Chinese Food.

I got the chicken fried rice at about 630. The rice was undercooked and very oily. The chicken was chewy and wasn’t any better than the quality of the rice. I hate leaving bad reviews, but people should know. Definitely not worth $14.

Zoey was really nice and helpful. Sausage fried rice was delicious and the kimchi was amazing, spicy, and tangy. Zoey convinced me to try the Scisandra pear ice tea for $1 extra and it was so good!!! Spicy, sweet, salty, umami, and sour all in one refreshing tea. Definitely glad I tried it.

Had some munchies on our last day in Oregon. This place did not disappoint. Bae liked their tea beverage he got.
The rice is really good, just how I like it. Sometimes I eat meat and and sometimes I can do without it. I would’ve been happy with just the fried rice but the chicken was really good too. I like their hot oil as well. Loved this.

Ordered the lamb skewers and the xianrbing (pork and chives) and nothing was remotely good. The bing was burnt actually and not even worth eating. The lamb skewers were not authentic because it wasn’t flame grilled so there was no char, it was basically steamed meat.. the photos made the bing look so nice and fluffy and meaty but it was actually so so sad. The wait time was also so long. I had already gotten my jianbing from the cart across AND finished eating it, plus had to wait some more, before the food was finally ready. Don’t waste your money here

The Xian bing tasted so horrible, the meat is spoiled, and it is very oily and overcooked make my stomach not feeling well the whole say. This is definitely not authentic Chinese food.

$17 for shrimp fried rice that had a few pieces of plain shrimp, largely plain tasting fried rice. No flavor. The shrimp were also not properly cleaned.

As part of the rebirth of the Midtown Beer Garden (previously the “5th & Stark food trucks”), this is a great new entry.

They are selling many of the offerings from PSU Saturday Farmers Market alongside a pictured menu of varied options. Today I had a cold noodle salad that really hit the spot.

I think they are missing a little extra revenue by limiting beverages here to only boba tea and schisandra berry tea. However the pod has other vendors for soda and water (please pay with cash) or the spiffy beer brewery and full bar at the center.
