Stopped by Great State Burger while walking around Bellevue Square Mall. It’s located on the second floor near the middle of the mall, with no private restrooms or parking. It shares those with the mall. Service was a bit slow, probably due to being slightly understaffed during my visit. Still, the food was tasty and hit the spot. Seating is in a shared public area just outside the restaurant, which can be a hit or miss depending on how busy the mall is. Overall, decent place for a quick bite if you’re nearby, but not the most efficient setup.

Overpriced fast food. This place is a joke they make it look like in their advertisement you’re going to get a really big juicy Quality burger instead you get something that’s equivalent to the size of happy meal or Dick’s hamburger. I can eat at a legitimate burger spot such as Red Robin Kidd Valley or even average restaurant and get a way bigger better burger for a better price! The workers were not friendly not attentive the food came out really slow. Took about 15 to 20 minutes to get my food. Two burgers one fries and one mediumdrink came to over $47! That is insane. They literally wanted $15 for a regular size milkshake. And they only have the 3 basic milkshake flavors. The french fries taste exactly like elementary school french fries or hospital cafeteria. The fries are the regular crinkle cut french fries you can buy at your grocery store frozen food section. Never going back I would not recommend this place whatsoever. The only good thing I have to say is that there is decent seating close by And they didn’t charge me for ketchup.

Never going back!
They have burgers that they didn’t know what ingredients were in. Plant-based or not. I asked all three employees and one of them said it was made of peas. I looked on the website and they kept pointing me to the piece of paper that had no information on the ingredients of the vegetarian burger. I told them as long as it wasn’t soy because I have a blood clotting disorder from estrogen foods such as soy.

This food USED TO BE flavorful and keep my family full. Now it all tastes like sand salt and oil and is garbage food. Thin as heck, hard, old dried out and processed. They weren’t always cheap crap ingredients when they first came to Seattle in Ravenna and Amazon campus. WHAT HAPPENED? QUALITY IS TRASH.

Every time I go back here the food is worse. I wasnt the only one thinking this, my friends have the same experience the last few years. First they stopped carrying Field Roast which was hearty chewy awesome and full of oats and mushrooms and whole grains. They used to have Tillamook cheese. Now it’s Sysco.

We were lied to that the burger was made of peas and instead was chock full of crap low quality chemicals ingredients. We’re talking soy, synthetic colorants such as fd&c blue #1 which causes cystic acne and birth defects , and fd&c yellow #4 linked to lowering sperm count and infertily.

The fries are hard discolored old overcooked and oily.
What happened to the real butter flaky fresh fries?

Both the burger buns were squashed thin and hard burnt a little. The cheese was still hard and cold not melted at all.
The vegetarian burger was cold and our order was made in about 2 minutes.
All three guys I think are new but also burnt out from the job. I can imagine how hard they work all day well the front counter guy was. The cook and other guy were standing around.

Great State owners should fix this or go to hell with their business. I hope they go visit their own sites and understand how bad the quality is and customer service is now. What a waste of time. My family was a huge fan the first 2 years they came to Seattle. We will never return.

The prices at Great State have gone up and the quality has gone down. We’re going to Dicks in the future! The only place in town where quality is still trusted ingredients and the prices are still fair. Over $40 for a soda 2 fries and 2 thin baby size burgers given to us dry and cold. How is that even possible?

Located inside Lincoln Square South Tower next to other eateries, Nordstrom Rack and Cinemark Reserve movie theater dine-in 21+. It’s a small order/pickup joint but ample seating shared with other restaurants; accepts cash/card; quality local ingredients; good burgers but on the small side yet surprisingly filling; excellent crinkle fries, not soggy; yummy shakes; fast/friendly service; safe/upscale Bellevue environment; free garage parking on weekends. Many reviews are negative because of the portions and price. As previously mentioned, the burgers are small, similar to Dick’s but are made with much better quality ingredients. Bigger is not always better. The burger was juicy but not greasy. I didn’t feel like I ate cheap fast food. I got a Great State Burger/fries/shake combo for $14.99+tax. It’s not cheap but the quality & safe/upscale environment justified the price and seemed relatively reasonable considering how everything has gotten expensive thanks to Bidenflation. A similar combo meal at McDonald’s or Wendy’s is almost or about the same price. I can imagine the rent is very high at Lincoln Square. Negative reviewers should stick with Dick’s, White Castle, McD’s, etc. and stay in Monroe or Tukwila. If you want a decent simple bite to eat after work or a casual spot for a date night at the movies, I recommend this place. Support your local small businesses & restaurants

We were waiting next door and thought it would be good to try this out. The burger is decent for what it is. The burger had a good texture and was made fresh. I think there was just something slightly off with the flavors, but it did its job of a quick snack before our meal.

Anything but great!! Services and quality of burgers are very poor. The current staff were completely put out to have to serve us and claimed to be out of hamburger meat when that is all they sell, very odd. After some back and forth they took our order and served us burnt fries and really horrible burgers. Pricing is ridiculously high. Recommend passing on this place…

Worst meal I’ve had this year. The burger is dry like cardboard. I didn’t know you could make a burger this bad. Seems like it’s been left on the grill for an hour. And huge thick bread compared to meat. First and last time here. Plus this place is expensive.

I had an amazing first experience eating Great State Burger in Bellevue. I had ordered the Great State Burger Classic (American Cheese, Pickles & State Sauce). This was a High Quality burger at an affordable price. Staff was Super Friendly and Mariah was of great service. I really like the design of this location. I highly recommend this place for all Families & Burger Lovers. Thank you and God Blwss Bellevue Great State Burger!

The service was great and friendly and fast. The fries were great. Two stars for the crispy fries. The burger was mediocre at best – kind of dry, a thin dry patty and American cheese that lacked any kind of flavor. The berry soda looked and tasted like blue cotton candy, if you like that kind of thing. I’m sure no berries were ever involved.
