Amazing service, atmosphere, and professional staff. Joe and Nikki were excellent behind the bar . Every drink exceeded my expectations. The menu has a plethora of culinary and mixology masterpieces. The local offers a lively bar and more intimate tables and booths. The perfect experience whether you are a loner, a couple, or a group after work. I highly recommend to all patrons you will not be disappointed and will return for more.

I wish I could share how the food was, I stopped by to have a nice dinner at the bar and let commuter traffic die down. I go past this area twice a week. The hostess was friendly, smiling and pleasant when I said I would just eat at the bar. I found a seat with empty chairs on both sides, leaving room for others if doubles. 2 men behind the bar, walk by me without eye contact and goes to a couple that sat at the bar after me, setting them up with menus and place settings. He then sets up 2 empty spots at the bar with menus and place settings. He then walks by me, without acknowledging I’m sitting at the bar with no one near me on either side and goes around the corner setting up another couple that came after me. He then comes around finally after more than 5 minutes and asks “are you alone”? I said, yeah, just me. He walks down the end of the bar, and then heads to the hostess. I assumed he probably ran out of menus? Nope, he was doing something else, went back to the bar, stayed down the far end and never came to give me a menu, ask what drink I would like, no place mat, water or further acknowledgement. After several more minutes, giving him as much of my patience as possible (it had more than crossed the line as far as absurd, I slowly put on my coat to see if he would redeem himself, and walked out. Guy is probably 50’s, near bald and dishelveled mess. The actual bartender never came from the far end of the bar for 15 minutes. If that was a GM or manager, he should be fired. If the owner, then this place is doomed. Will never see me there, ever. What a shame. It looked like it could have been good food.

Really nice time having appetizers for dinner w/ my friend. We shared the fig and prosciutto flatbread, arugula salad, the mushroom gnocchi appetizer, and the ahi tuna. All good, but the gnocchi was the standout. We also got the pumpkin crème brûlée to split which was nice. Our server was friendly and great. Would definitely go back.

It our go-to date night spot. Very consistent food and drinks and the atmosphere is always great. Everything we have tried on the menu has been terrific. The spicy shrimp hummus as an appetizer is an absolute must for us. The staff is friendly and the bartenders knock it out of the park.

GRK had a lot to offer. The oysters were great, and it was easy to enjoy even for someone new to oyesters. The cocktails were excellent and the menu had lots of options. Our waitress was friendly and on top of our needs. The high ceilings make it slightly loud inside, but overall good food!

My husband and I had a delightful date night at this restaurant last night. I had made reservations in advance since it was my first time there. Our reservation was for 7:30, but we arrived a bit early and were promptly seated. We sought a casual yet elegant dining experience, and the restaurant’s laid-back vibe immediately put us at ease. Our table was situated by the open-concept kitchen, allowing us to witness the culinary magic unfold.
Our server was exceptional. Although I can’t recall his name, he had a really cool mullet and an great attitude. His helpful recommendations guided my choices and enhanced my overall dining experience. He even complimented me on selecting his favorites, which I must admit, were all incredibly delicious. We started with oysters and jumbo shrimp, which were super fresh. I went with their butcher’s block choice of petite filet with mash and green beans, and I got Brussels sprouts on the side. I told my husband that if I died last night, I wouldn’t even be mad because at least I had an amazing meal before I went, lol. The filet literally melted in my mouth. The mash was so creamy and perfect. I also got the Groth Cab wine, per our server’s recommendation when I asked for a good wine to have with steak. I left wanting an entire bottle of that wine!! My husband had the haddock tacos, which he said were super flavorful, and he mentioned the guacamole was super fresh despite not being a huge guac person. We decided to be gluttonous and each get our own dessert, and boy was that the right choice. I got the cinnamon roll bread pudding, which was unreal and remained super hot the entire time I was eating it. My husband got the blondie with a mountain of ice cream on top, and I will say mine was better with his ice cream, lol. The blondie in the ice cream dessert wasn’t great, but if that’s our only complaint, I’d say that’s a win. I knocked off one star for atmosphere only because I feel like I couldn’t put my finger on what the vibe of the place was decor-wise. It seemed kinda eclectic in the sense that it conveyed a variety of styles that didn’t seem super cohesive together. It’s giving casual Maine nautical vibes but also rustic farmhouse that’s somewhat fancy, but then there’s TVs and shuffleboard in the front. Overall, though, we had an amazing time with amazing service, and we will definitely be back. The restaurant definitely gave a family vibe, and it seemed like there was a good amount of families there, but I really enjoyed it for a casual date night.

The food is fresh, we go quite often (2-3 times a month, sometimes more) and the staff here truly care. Their rotating menu keeps things interesting and the food is always delicious

The food was good. Oysters, beef tartare (special), cast iron chicken, steak frites. All in all good. Steak frites was mostly frites, but the steak was delicious. The chicken was good. We had apple crisp dessert that was underwhelming. All in all the food was good but nothing amazing. We sat at the oyster bar, it’s a bar top looking into the kitchen area. Seats are uncomfortable.

I’ve done New Year’s Eve dinner with my family here, 3 of the last 4 years. It’s always a very nice time. BUT… this year was amazing. The menu option for better than previous years, the atmosphere was kid friendly, yet still very mature, and our waiter (Derek) was so great!

Started going here when we moved in the area around 2017. The food is very good with a rotating seasonal menu while keeping staple items. The owner/manager does a good job of recognizing and valuing repeat customers. Atmosphere is elevated enough for dates but laid back enough for casual wear. Bar is very popular, offering select beers, craft beer and seasonal drinks.
