The first thing I noticed while visiting Great Pacific was the atmosphere. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted with the intoxicating aroma of fresh brewed coffee and the uplifting ambiance of live folk music. I ordered a London Fog and it lifted my spirits much like the rest of the experience already had. Such a wonderful operation.

Fun dinner stop on a roadtrip! Order at the counter then find a table in this large and lively, whimsically-decorated eatery. The selection of beers on tap is sure to please, and if not, there’s also wine and a full bar.
I ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken, which was served with a mini-loaf of sourdough bread, and both were delicious. The menu also features lots of appetizers, small plates for sharing, and quite creative pizzas and sandwiches. I had a hard time choosing!
This is on the corner right in the heart of old Pendleton. It’s downhill from the Interstate, but well worth the detour. It looked like a favorite place for the locals as well!

Best coffee in town! Great place to hang too. Good cocktails, big wine selection, amazing pizza and more.

Good gluten free pizza. The toppings are good, typical stuff. You are given fresh, shredded parm rather than the powdered stuff. Outside dining is our choice, though the inside is full of old wood and character. Pricey chocolates and reasonable cookies. There was only one cider option, but it’s good. There is no house rootbeer, but the other half enjoyed a mocktail with real fruit and mint.
You order at the counter and food is brought to you. Free street parking.

One of the best gluten free pizzas I have ever had, hands down. I’m a celiac so this was a great find. Excellent service and atmosphere.
*Third visit update…we’re travelling with MandyCat and don’t have time to dine-in. We called in when we were 30 minutes out on I-84 and our pizza was ready for us as we quickly came through town. This time a gluten free Ruben. Sooo yummy! Three visits so far, three different gf pizzas, and we have no clear favorite. They all have been great! Recommend x 3!

Good mocha, friendly staff.
Prices have gone up, since they last printed the menu, though.

This order-at-the-counter gastropub has the best gluten-free pizza EVER (my non-GF husband agrees). They also have gluten-free Ghostfish beer (and a huge selection of wine and other beers) to pair it with. Wow. We shared a 14” Gluten-free T-Rex pizza, a small house side salad with their sesame dressing and I tried the Ghostfish gluten-free Stout. The salad was delicious, chock-full of fresh veggies, and the dressing was a bit sweet and a bit tangy. The beer was a bit overpowering for the food (would have been better with a steak or cheese and crackers), but I liked it a lot. The pizza was the perfect combo of thin crust that still had body and a bit of crunch, a generous helping of toppings and a side of freshly-grated Parmesan on request. We’ll be back in our next trip East.

This place is GREAT! Cozy. Comfortable. The friendliest staff. And, oh, the food is good. Reasonably priced and generous portions. The small salad was enough for my wife and me. Along with my sister, the three of us each ordered our own personal sized pizza. We each needed a box and left for home with a half of pizza to eat the next day.
