The owner is always checking on your satisfaction with your meal. The food is great.
He even stayed open late for a group of us after a memorial service, offering us free rice pudding and taking the time out to chat about the person that had passed. Great Oak Pizza was one of her favorite pizza places.

The pizza and New England clam chowder were delicious. The waitress and kitchen staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The onion rings with creamy garlic dressing were a great choice. I also tried the Philly cheese steak, which was a generous portion of steak with great peppers and onions. However, it was a bit dry. I could have added the optional mayo, but I declined. Alternatively, I could have added extra cheese, which would have been fantastic. Overall, I want to give a big shoutout to everyone at the restaurant for their friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

WOW!!! WOW!!! I couldn’t believe what happened on Thursday 12/18/25 around 2:20 in the afternoon. I thought the owner was being kind to all customers at the beginning of my visit. A man walked in and picked up his order and the owner was sitting on the table and literally jumped toward the man and offered him a bag of any size chips. The man declined at first and the owner insisted he take any size bag and was showing him different flavored chips. He ended up taking a bag and left. The owner threw himself at the man and made him uncomfortable and I was very uncomfortable with that pathetic display. It was very hard to watch. I am beside myself. Then comes in another couple picking up their takeout order and they were offered a free dessert. They later accepted and left. Now mind you there was only me and and 2 ladies behind me in the whole restaurant at that time I was dining there. I am under the assumption the owner is showing some kindness during the holidays to all of his customers but boy was I wrong. I have been going there for a couple of years and I am certainly not a stranger. The place is small.
I have no problem with an owner giving customers free food especially around the Christmas holiday but you as an owner have to be fair to ALL customers present. I personally was wasn’t offered ANYTHING. All I got was a loud waiter yelling across the room are you ready for your check. TONE IT DOWN. TOO LOUD. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
I DO NOT EVER EXPECT TO RECEIVE ANYTHING FOR FREE BUT WHAT I DO EXPECT IS TO BE TREATED WITH FAIRNESS AND RESPECT AND KINDNESS. I FELT SINGLED OUT, HURT, DEEPLY OFFENDED AND EXCLUDED BY YOUR GROSS CONDUCT AND THAT WAS A VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR ME. NOT AT ALL AN INCLUSIVE CULTURE THERE AS I FOUND OUT. GET ME OUT OF YOUR RESTAURANT ASAP!!!!!!

Your place needs a serious update inside and out. And a deep cleaning also.

While on vacation from Las Vegas, we had the opportunity to stop by this fantastic restaurant to enjoy some of the best pizza we have ever had. This non-descript hidden gem of a pizza store brings us back to growing up here in Massachusetts and Connecticut. This family run pizza provides you with a cozy atmosphere, an excellent selection of wonderful pizzas, grinders, pasta dishes, etc. and all at a reasonable price. There is plenty of free parking located at the restaurant and the staff will go out of its way to make you feel right at home. They also have a great selection of delicious desserts, if you will even have room. A special thank you goes out to two members of the staff, Dawson and Tasus, who made a time here quite special. If you are ever passing by this location and want to have a delicious pizza, we highly recommend this restaurant.

Great Oak is our go-to for take-out! Phenomenal food and service. Every time we walk in we are greeted immediately in a friendly way. Not only is every dish we get amazing, the staff goes above and beyond every visit. They always show appreciation of all customers!

There was 6 of us and the waitress was awesome. Our food was incredible, hot, and plenty to be able to take some home. We felt like family, that is crazy because the staff are family. Just a wonderful place that we will be going to again SOON.

I called ahead to Great Oak Pizza & picked up a large Philly Cheese Steak grinder with peppers, mushrooms, and onions…
The grinder was nice and hot. It was big & sloppy and packed with goodness. I really enjoyed it. The beef was of noticeably good quality, not some low budget grizzle you sometimes find at other places. I spoke with the owner, and he seems like a great guy. It is a family-owned business and they have been here for 20 plus years (and counting). After trying this place out, I could see why they have been here for so long.
It is obvious that the ownership takes great pride in the product they put out.
I found a nice little spot to woof down half of it quickly and it was Delightful!
Once I arrived at my destination I ate the other half. It was just as good, still a decent temperature.
I purchased a bag of UTZ chips, which I really like (Best Chip brand there is).
I will definitely be trying some of the other options here when I’m working in the area. Somehow, I need to figure out how to properly time arriving in the area and ordering a pizza. Maybe I’ll have to take the wife here on the weekend sometime.

The best food! The owners daughter and son were our waiters and they were amazing! So friendly we came back twice in the week we were visiting! Leave room for dessert we tried almost all of them and they were so good!
