Great family diner…pretty good menu, great place for breakfast. Service started out great, but it seems I showed up at shift change or cut time after breakfast rush. Whoever I got handed off to forgot about us. I had to ask for more coffee. No big deal, totally apologetic.

It’s close to my house so I’ve been here 3 times and have been disappointed every time. It’s very expensive for the quality of food. When I ordered a western omelet for carry out I received a cheese omelet. When I ordered 4 coney dogs for an outrageous price, they had no onions and were served on a stale wheat bun. They are rude to me when I pick up and recommend a 35% tip.

Food and service were great, as usual. Prices have gone up a LOT $12 for diner eggs? That seems to be a trend everywhere. What put me off was a 4% surcharge for paying with a card and then a very public “would you like to leave a tip?” With an option of 25%, 30% or 35% – what? I said 20% and the cashier said that was not an option unless I would like to select “other” and lower the trip

Shady business practices. They charge you additional for carryout orders, but don’t have that charge posted anywhere, nor tell you about it when you order or pay. They just slip it in there thinking you won’t notice.

I had breakfast, 2 eggs over easy, sausage, american home fries, and toast . . . the classic american breakfast. Over all the breakfast was good. The only thing that was not very good were the american home fries. They were seasoned nicely but dry. I suggest you try the hash browns or have pancakes asm the side instead. The atmosphere was pleasant family type surroundings and very clean. I considered it a plus. The price was also reasonable. One last minor complaint. They charge an additional 3.9% if you use a charge card.
