When he got there, not knowing they were closed on Sunday’s. He walked up to the door which open, but lights were off.
Another customer pulled up to go in, but my husband told her they are closed but door is open.
He told her he was going in to make sure everything was ok. He told her if something goes wrong to call 911.
He walked in and said hello…is anyone in here?
He checked restrooms and every place someone could hide. He found nothing.
When he left he pushed door and it locked.
He went to Blaze pizza and asked who the owner was, and gave his info.
He went back Monday to let them know what happened. The 2 boys working didn’t seem to care. I fact one said “I closed Saturday and I know I locked the doors. My husband said” No it wasn’t, one door was open. Look at your cameras you will see me.
We bought some bread and left.
We called the corporate number and left message about what happened. We never heard a word.
This could have been a very scary situation. This could have been a bad situation with an employee with a grave out come.
I guess being a honest citizen doesn’t mean anything these days.
The lady that helped me and seemed to be in charge (I failed to get her name) was very kind and served with a smile.
There are plenty of tables both inside and out to enjoy your meal or perhaps a cup of coffee and a sweet of your choice.
2 to 6 pm shift. It didn’t seem fair to her. What if something happened and she fell or she had a physical customer. I want to shop and eat at establishments that show a high regard for their employees safety.
The atmosphere is crisp and clean and the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed orange cranberry scones and coffee.
The only negative I have to mention is the size of the gluten-free sandwiches. They’re significantly smaller than the regular sandwiches, but at the same price. Before I found it necessary to go gluten-free, I used to order a half sandwich. However a whole gluten-free sandwich is barely bigger than a typical half sandwich. I’d love to see them go to giving you 1 1/2 gluten-free sandwiches for the price of the whole sandwich, even if it meant $1 extra for the gluten free bread. Thanks & God bless!
