We had a wonderful visit. Thanks to Elie who assisted us with our orders & also welcomed us so warmly. She took time to have a pleasant conversation when she wasn’t busy assisting other customers. And even offered to take our picture. They also went extra to make our orders without us needing to ask but instead they offered to make it a better experience for us. That extra gesture is not so common nowadays and we are glad that we stopped by their bakery.
This bakery has so much to offer aside from the freshly baked breads & cookies that’s made from grains milled fresh daily. They also offer ready to bake frozen doughs & jams.

LOVE this place! I drive 35 mins out of my way to come to this location every few months. French bread like no other or like any other GHB locations, and the older gentleman working there knows his bread! He is so kind and helpful with every encounter I’ve had there. Keep up the awesome work GHB-Delafield!

We were thoroughly delighted with our visit to Great Harvest Bread Company today. What a charming, rustic, and cozy place for a sweet snack, cup of coffee, or a quick meal. Everything looked decadently delicious. The cinnamon rolls were scrumptious (and Ginormous!). We will most definitely be back.

Sadly their muffins have the texture and taste of having been frozen for a hundred years and then left out to thaw. Just horrendously bad. But the employees are awesome. The space is cozy. Unfortunately there is no fresh bakery here whatsoever. Today I tried to pull my muffin apart and it was like trying to separate foam rubber. I guess what do you expect with a chain that doesn’t provide a personalized touch.

I wish we could give both the Delafield and Oconomowoc Great Harvest 10 stars… We worked with these locations to help with all of the baked goods, deserts, sweets and wedding cake for my wife and I at our wedding this past November… They were amazing to work with, super accommodating, they had amazing ideas and listened to everything we had asked for… What they did was beyond perfect and we would recommend both or either location hands down! They made every aspect of what we asked absolutely perfect and had it at the venue and ready to go without any stress on our end!
Our guests LOVED everything they brought – we heard it over and over throughout the evening!

We picked up a sourdough ($8) and cinnamon swirl loaf. ($10.5) They also give free whole slices of bread as samples. Made fresh and very tasty!
Next time, we might try their whipped butter. I’d recommend getting some oil next door to pair with the bread.

Stopped in for the first time this morning to grab some quick breakfast before work. The atmosphere and vibe was amazing. It was so quant and peaceful. The gentleman behind the counter was so kind and gave me a sample of bread with my purchase. Will definitely be back!

I typically LOVE this place. I go a couple times a week. The baked goods, sandwiches, free samples and friendly staff are all so wonderful. You even get a coffee, bread or sandwich card to get signed to pave your way toward a free item. Plus Colectivo Coffee which is always the way to go! The atmosphere is inviting and it’s a nice spot to sip your coffee or enjoy a book.
My only drawback is one of the staff members (older, wears bandanna usually) seemed annoyed with my order. I asked for oat milk in my frappe instead of the usual milk they use. He essentially rolled his eyes when I requested that replacement. He also didn’t add caramel and put in hazelnut instead. My frappe also came out not blended and tasted like sweet milk. There was not the 2 shots of espresso added like advertised. It was a disappointment to say the least and I felt like if I spoke up he would be even more annoyed, so I didn’t. Which is why I’m leaving this review so they can hopefully work on training with this drink. But it truthfully is a 5 star place 90% of the time!
