Great Harvest has been a favorite that has never disappointed in over 20 years I’ve been going there. Their wide assortment of breads lack nothing a carb lover could ask for. They bake different types, fresh, each day. The store is friendly & comfortable & the menu board, though packed with flavor names, was easy to read & well organized. Found them on vacation in another state and loved the bread so much, I sought out the location in our area! Opens at 6:30am for all the early risers. Friendly staff, same quality, but its smaller than the ones in other states.

I love Great Harvest Bread Co.; I discovered them at the South Windsor Farmer’s Market, and now I visit regularly. Their sourdough bread is a staple in my diet, and I love grabbing a treat each time I go, like a cupcake, muffin, scone or bar of some kind. The cherry butter they have is also a hidden gem, it tastes like cherry pie. Great, fresh baked goods. Their store also has some soup mixes, cookie mixes, hot chocolate mixes and mugs, some dog treats, a few hot breakfast and lunch items, and some drinks and a few tables to sit and eat at. I have had hot sandwiches from here and those were great too. There’s a rewards program where after you spend so much you can get a free item, something you’re already buying anyway, which is really nice for regular customers. I have liked everything here I’ve tried! They don’t do gluten-free because they mill their own flour, last time I asked (around spring 2023).
