I love this place, I love the people here,and I love the food. I have been a customer of theirs since I was a kid with my mother who passed in 2019. Now I get their food for my family. If ever you are ill forget about chicken noodle soup get their egg drop soup. It’s soothing and dare I say comparable to antibiotics . Thank you great garden for always taking such good care of me and mine. Small business hard-working humble people. We ❤️ you guys.

I ordered the chicken lo mein with egg roll with crab cheese for lunch, shared it with my teammate. We both sat and just raved how good it is. Great garden meals are so fresh and the taste is amazing . I ended up ordering the same thing for my family dinner. I love this place and highly recommend it!

Great Garden? More like Great Value! I love this place, it’s my go to Chinese restaurant in the Tallmadge area. It’s been hard to find good Chinese food in northeast Ohio since moving from southwestern Ohio, and while I can’t say it’s better than the shop in my hometown, I can say with certainty you’d be hard pressed to find a better tasty bang for your buck on this side of the state. Great Garden serves big portions for a small price; I’ve literally had my 13 dollar super special have to be stapled shut because it’s so jam packed with food. Taste wise, I would describe Great Garden as “elevated mall Chinese food”. It’s that nostalgic sweet spot for me, but better executed than typical mall food. The building exterior is more than a bit rough, but what building isn’t around that part of town? What matters most is the employees are always friendly and they serve great food. What’s not to love? The service is very fast as well.
Some of my favorite menu items are the steamed dumplings (the dumpling sauce is delicious ), the teriyaki chicken sticks, and the egg rolls. I’m not usually an egg roll person, but theirs have just the right ratio of cabbage and pork. I also really appreciate how many options they have for their lo mein, including plain. It makes it a great place for picky eaters since the noodles are so customizable.
They also always have coupons on their website where if you order a certain dollar amount, they give you something for free. I usually order enough to get a free can of soda.
10/10 nothing but good things to say about this place. Hopefully one of these days they can get their parking lot replaced though.

COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED because we ordered the Super combo & they changed containers & now it’s so small. Same price as before just way smaller. This was our favorite place but since portions went down we will no longer be going there. Such a shame. We used to be able to share a meal, now there’s more yellow rice than meat. It doesn’t just happen once….. it’s the past 3 times. We should have known better than trying it again.

They are hands down my favorite, the pork egg rolls are outstanding, the wonton soup is out of this world…….. And the portions are so big they have to staple the containers closed. If you eat here get the super combos it’s worth it. Love you great garden
