I went to this restaurant due to the good reviews and I was disappointed. There were 3 kids running through the restaurant for approximately 15 minutes bartender finally said something. I ordered the pretzel and beer cheese as an appetizer and did not receive them before my main course so I cancelled them. I ordered shrimp tacos and they were nothing of what I was expecting, they weren’t good and I’m sure there’s plenty good good items on the menu. I’m simply basing this on my current visit and order. I will say their fries are really good and the waiter was good.

Really enjoyed their beer! Their Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese is good too. I didn’t care for the pimento dip appetizer, and the fish tacos could’ve been a bit better (bigger pieces of fish and corn tortillas instead). But I would come back!

Came in for lunch and it was very awkward. TVs on but no volume, no music , like dinning in a retirement home with nothing but the sounds of chatter and other people chewing to fill the room.
A coupe if young ladies were trying to run the place on their own. Looked understaffed or lacking in management. Not the girls fault.
We ordered 3 burgers which took a while but not a big deal. My wife and I took one bite and knew something was wrong, it just tasted funny. Our daughter said the same so we simply asked for a check. Upon paying the server noticed we had not eaten and said “would you like a box”? As opposed to , “is everting okay “?
Awful food, you can get better burgers anywhere. We paid full price and left. Don’t believe it would have done much good to ask for something different or bring to the attention of management.

Had a sampling of appetizers taking advantage of the Happy Hour specials. The Poutine had a great flavor and was perfect for a cold day, however if you are looking for traditional Canadian Poutine this is not it. The wing were excellent as was the pretzels although was not a big fan of the beer cheese. Overall it was a great lunch and will definitely go back.

Very comfortable spot with a good beer selection and broad food menu. Beers were really tasty and distinctive, flights were reasonably priced. Burgers are made with local farm beef, fries are house-made, and everything tasted fresh. Lots of delicious house made toppings on the burger as well – no prefab stuff. Service was very good as well. I’d go back when in Louisville!

We went on Friday night. They were packed. Disappointed in the non-IPA beer choices. Pretzels and wing appetizer were very good. Really liked the ambiance and mood. Ordered a sandwich without mayo and it was brought out incorrect. Busy, I get it, but still. Overall, I’m giving them room to get better. But with a couple beers, 2 apps, and a sandwich, a family of three spent around $65+tip to eat here for decent, not exceptionally tasteful or creative, food.

The best way to describe Great Floor is to say it’s just bar food with several good beers and drinks available.
There were three of us in our group for an early dinner. I try not to comment on the service during the times we are presently dealing with, Covid, short-staffed establishments, etc. But, there were only four tables with customers at the time of our visit. We saw two waitresses and a food runner. You would think the service would be much better than what we got. Most of the time the waitresses were chatting at the bar with the bartender. Not really a deal breaker, just a little disappointment added to our visit.
Our friend who joined us had the Baked Mac & Cheese. It’s shredded Mozzarella with a house-made mornay white sauce and elbow pasta. It’s all cooked up in a cast iron skillet. If you wish, you can add either mushrooms, bacon, or chicken with an upcharge. Our friend did enjoy the dish.
My wife had the Fish Tacos which are beer-battered pieces of fried cod served on flour tortillas. The tacos are topped with sweet red cabbage slaw and remoulade dressing. The tacos come with a side of fries. My wife stated the tacos were not that bad, but she has had better ones at other restaurants.
I had the Blue Cheese Burger which is an eight-ounce locally-sourced beef patty. The burger is topped with blue cheese crumbles, Henry Baines sauce, and caramelized onions. Lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle are served on the side. Like my wife’s tacos, my burger came with a side order of fries. My burger was okay, but in my opinion, it wasn’t anything to write home about. Surprising, the fries were very good.
There is a large number of beers, spirits, and wines available. We just had cider with our meals and we enjoyed the cider very much. I wish Google allowed for giving restaurants half stars, but they don’t. In my opinion, Great Floor is a three and a half star establishment.

I went there for Thursday Trivia Night with friends. It was pleasure night. I do enjoy the foods a lot. I ordered Fried Mac and Cheese bites. It is delicious. And also I ordered chicken and Cheese Quesadilla. It wasn’t too bad. The overall experience wasn’t bad. The food delivered to table was fast. The server had quite busy night which I understand. One thing is that I wish that they have non alocholic drinks for just Dry January. But I will come back next month for try their beers.

Overall a good experience. The biggest drawbacks were the deviled eggs which had a lot of watery liquid in and under them, and the service. However both have big asterisks with them. The deviled eggs had the water with them because I’d assume they’re prepared early and kept in a fridge until they’re ordered which makes total sense. So naturally some of the water comes out. Again, not a deal breaker and they tasted ok, but an odd texture I wasn’t prepared for. If you want a deviled egg though go ahead, they still tasted ok. The second was the service but again this seems to be more of an every-restaurant issue than just this location. Our server was great and got everything we needed but was a little slow. Here’s the thing though, she was the hostess; was serving/running two sections, and was running beer from the bar as hell. She did way better than I could and got everything perfect. This 4/5 rating is more for the owners to know they’re asking a lot of their servers and it affects things being about to keep moving quickly. (Which I’m sure they know already). Last note though was the burgers were amazing. So I’ll definitely be back and you should go too! Im just not getting the deviled eggs and planning for a couple extra minutes of waiting. The seating area was nice too; perfect for the weather.

This was an amazing meal. There were so many items on the starter menu that looked amazing so we just went with several of those starters and sides. Everything was hot and delicious. We went here on a random selection and I can’t wait to go back.
