I didn’t expect the food to be That bad. But it was nasty. The shrimp look pretty but had a stale taste. The fried head on shrimp were dry and greasy. The wontons were fried in old grease. The best thing about this meal was the crunchy green beans. I will not be back.

Great Chow buffet is a good bargain place for variety dishes. It’s no frills and no sushi (go figure . Better to dine in as I have many times. Takeout is not worth it— way too many add-on prices. These two plates cost $26. We just popped in for some quick takeout noodles. But, the buffet noodle tray was empty so we got noodles at the Hibachi station instead with shrimp. The noodles were good! However the value to price is not so great; thus the 3 stars. ✨

The name says Great Chow. There is absolutely nothing great about this place. It used to have a different name in the past. My daughter wanted to go here for dinner because in her childhood she loved it. The food used to be decent and filling.

I don’t know what happened but the quality has gone down. There are no labels on the buffet so it is a guessing game. I chose something safe like chicken wings and potatoes. It was very sub par. Every dish either tasted the same or was over cooked. I tried to get a second plate but I just couldn’t eat it. I saw people continuously going back but I just couldn’t do it. I tried a couple of desserts but they were hard and dry. I’m sorry I will not be returning.

I will say that the server was very nice and attentive l. She made sure we had plenty of refills and she cleared used dishes.

I had a decent experience at this establishment. The staff is friendly, and they have lots of options, but the price is a lot for someone who can’t eat a lot in one sitting. The staff does seemingly ‘watch’ their guests like hawks while we’re eating our meals, which is weird. The food is definitely one of the better buffets that I’ve went too, but $40 for two people is excessive. It’s better for someone who has a larger appetite.

They open around 11 AM, and I went there because I love crawfish. But when I grabbed the crawfish, it looked black. I thought it might be normal, but when I tried to eat it, the smell was horrible like the stinky odor from a garbage disposal when it’s being cleaned. It was that black stuff that nobody wants to deal with. I’ll post a picture so you can see how it looked. When I tried to taste it, it was full of sand. I immediately took it to the manager and told her it smelled like a nasty gutter. I asked her to smell it, but she refused, saying it was fine. She claimed one of her workers had tried it and thought it was good, which was clearly a lie. When I arrived, there was hardly anything ready, even though they had just opened. She didn’t even make an effort to check the food; she just brushed me off. I ended up returning the crawfish, but no one made any attempt to fix the problem or even check what they were serving. I just want to warn others to stay healthy and be careful when dining here.

This was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is huge on the inside. The buffet bars had a variety of foods from fried chicken to pasta selections along with Chinese food options. I really liked the hibachi bar. You are able to select your protein and vegetables and then move to the grill where your food is cooked for you. There is also a dessert bar and fruit bar. The service was great, and the waitress was efficient

Over priced for children ages 3 to 5, bathrooms are horrible, crab legs are small, chicken wings were good, fried shrimp too soft. All that money they’re charging ou have to ask for amenities like ketchup, they bring fast food cups instead of a jar

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! HAIR COOKED IN MY FOOD!!!! THEIR HEALTH INSPECTION SCORE IS A 84 LOW!!!! Disgusting unsanitary food preparation!!! I purchase fried crabs from this location in my crabs had hair cooked inside of the batter. I contacted Christina who I have a great rapport with since I am a very loyal, frequent customer. I know all of the staff on a first name basis. We laugh and joke daily. I have never called the scene I have never been ghetto. I have never conducted myself in any ill manner. When I attempted to return my food, she did not want to give me a full refund because she said I ate some of the food. Mind you I only ate one crab and I had to drive all the way from my home back to this location. I advised her that I was not satisfied with that resolution, and that I am a loyal customer who has spent $100 at this facility and I come and shop there very often every other day if not every day. They rather lose a loyal customer who has never complained!!!!! instead of taking accountability for their mistake. She then told me it’s not their fault that the Hair is in the food. I told her ma’am I came here with a bonnet on my head, and I returned here with a bonnet on my head. There is no way to get hair to stick to inside and under the batter of the fried food, unless it was already cooked with it. I told her it was an insult that she would not give me back my full refund of my money especially for the inconvenience and me being a loyal customer, who has never complained for all of the years that I have gone here. I was willing to let this go as long as they did the right thing. I am a business owner myself, and I am not into bashing peoples business. I understand people make a mistakes, however not taking accountability for your mistake and implying otherwise is very unacceptable and unprofessional. I hate that this relationship has to come to an end because I know everyone by their name at the location and I hate that I was treated like this as a loyal customer. It was very disheartening and sad what I had to endure. Im sick to my stomach.

I would give this place a better score but the waitresses act like a gang when it comes to tipping and it is quite disturbing . I have never been to a restaurant where the waitress, stands over you as you write a tip or make sure you don’t forget it! If the customer fails to tip, the waitress actually calls for back up to almost strong arm the customer into a tip! It’s quite alarming and unprofessional! I must say if it’s that serious add gratuity to your bill to eliminate the odd and rude behavior when dealing with payment! The food was good and my waitress did make sure plates were gone and drinks refilled. But the part of the service that sticks in my mind was the hovering! I should not have to smell your breath nor your body odor as I write down my tip! How ghetto!
