I have tried Great Chow a few times over the past year, initially for takeout chicken wings…very good.
Unfortunately, when I have tried their lo main or fried rice or other items, they are not very good.
On my last visit , I tried the House Lo Mein and discovered canned mushrooms, baby corn and water chestnuts, baby shrimp, chunks of pork, soggy broccoli, pea pods and noodles in a congealed sauce and overall it looked and tasted like smoky mush.
I don’t know that I would try anything else after that experience.

My food was delivery and at one time great chow was great. However, I spent almost $100 last night. I wish I could get my money back. The teriyaki steaks are way overcooked burnt- the spareribs. Tested old and chewy gross the lo mein was tasteless. It was all very disappointing. You think you’d keep up the quality when you have so much competition in Quincy I don’t have this kind of money to throw away but thanks for nothing.

We asked why food was reheated. they said it was to make service faster. We asked if we could get fresh chicken. They said we could. Less than 10 minutes later the usual reheated food was served. Clearly not fresh. It was hard and difficult to chew. Shameful food but more shameful was the dishonesty.

I had a bad experience with the UberEats driver when I ordered here, but the Great Chow manager went above and beyond to make sure I had what I ordered. Helpful hint– do not order online. Call the restaurant directly and they will deliver on time and with a smile. Wonderful customer service and delicious chicken fingers!

my family and I got reservations here and when we got there, our table was already set up and everything. We got crab Rangoons and beef teriyaki as appetizers and they were delicious! I got orange chicken and my family got food that was very good as well. Definitely somewhere I would go back to and maybe for take out as well.

My family has been coming to Great Chow for dinner and the food has always been good and plenty. We usually opt for the pupu platter and pork fried rice. Unfortunately I found a roach in the pork fried rice. This was after taking home left overs from my last dine in experience with them. Needless to say I will not return.

On Mother’s Day, I was invited to my friend’s home in Quincy to celebrate with my friend’s mother, we when to Great Chow, and we all had a great time, the service was superb, and the Manager even came over and treated as like family. this makes my friend’s mother feel happy. this is a great place to bring friends.

Our absolute favorite place and people! The food is always incredible and the staff are so wonderful and treat us like family. We have been going to this location for over 15 years and when they had an Abington location, went there often and celebrated many occasions in the function room. If you want s fantastic meal, great atmosphere and yummy drinks- this is the place!!!!!
