This is a staple to Independence, it is some of the best food in town. Sue and her family are very kind and get to know their customers. If you have a choice stop here you wont regret it. Atmosphere is awsome but bring cash that is the only currency accepted.

Food is good, there is some variety. My 5 y.o. Could find some plain options too. Staff was friendly. The cleanliness of the plates and silverware could be improved. The atmosphere had room for improvement.

New to SEK I was happy to find a Chinese food restraunt. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was not friendly or inviting (which seems out of character for this region.) We were not seated or spoken to on arrival just waved on to the next seating area despite a slow lunch hour. Even after speaking to a waitress I began to regret my decision. But the food did look nice. As far as flavor it was not bad but not amazing either. The prices were cheap.

I’ve eaten Chinese all over the country. This is my favorite. Love the #1 for 2. 3 different dishes with soup and appetizers. Best egg drop soup anywhere. Egg rolls are great. Peach dipping sauce is different than I’ve had anywhere else and is a good complement to their uniquely spiced eggrolls.

Same as it was when I was a kid! They don’t put onions in anything an the place is the best! Lunch special is almost $16.00 arter tax. I just thought that was kinda high for a lunch special!

Love this restaurant! It’s some of the best Chinese cuisine I’ve had anywhere. The veggies are fresh and not overcooked. The egg drop soup, as so many other reviewers have stated, is wonderful. Moo goo gai pan is my favorite entree so far but I look forward to trying additional items. The combo plates are very reasonably priced and portions are good-sized. I’m going back again tonight!

It is amazing food place!! The owners are super nice! They do not except card or out of town checks so bring your cash! I recommend trying the wonton soup as an appetizer! Then pick one of there yummy meals like the House pepper Steak, chicken broccoli, and many other amazing dishes! Serving Sizes are medium sizes and are filling. The place is very clean! It is a smaller restaurant but, do Not worry they will seat you. Normally not a wait time. Not open on Mondays. They have 5 out of 5 star service!
