The food is actually pretty good. That being said if you order a To Go plate you will be charged an overpack fee regardless if you overpacked or not. Also pointing out the guidelines is pointless when they’re followed and an overpack fee is still charged. After going a few times and packing the exact same way each time, I can confidently say it’s completely arbitrary. Part of the business plan I guess

Can we agree this place is a vomitorium? The restrooms stalls have two choices vomit or poop…find out what’s behind door number one…is it number 2?! Ugh, I hope the staff have a restroom in the back because the customer one will spread all types of diseases since the 1920’s…ijs. Do better or start handing out hot towels to wipe our hands…pfft

Today was one of the worst days of my life I literally was humiliated bullied discriminated for having a autistic 3 year old child with the night the right to purchase food here was escorted out because my 3 year old son has autism which I let the owner know and was aware of just because he removed one of his shoes because it was bothering him she started calling him a dirty kid she didn’t allow that. After multiple times of letting her know that my child was autistic and was removing his shoe due to the sensitivity of it because most autistic kids get bothered by the sensation or feeling of certain things she continued to harass me and name call my child I got very upset and told her to back off and to stop trying to push my son out of the restaurant so she called the police for defending my son from her she made false accusation saying that her husband and kids had autism but she wouldn’t serve people or kids like that at her restaurant DO Not take any one with a DISABILITY HERE they will publicly humiliate you or anyone who has a disability

So this is a local Chinese buffet. Minimal to moderate choices. Food is OK. Nothing special. I think the service is very good in reference to the waitresses helping you out. Atmosphere is horrible. Has a very trashy feeling to it. The reason I gave it two stars is because the food is not bad. But I feel like it’s a very dirty place and I have pictures of cockroaches on my table. We did bring it up to the waitress and management only gave us 15% off each plate. That’s nice of them but don’t you think a refund or a bigger discount would be better with a nice apology from the owner? We never saw the owner, and they threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay for the meal. We never said we weren’t going to pay. We just wanted to bring up the cockroach. If the owner or management would’ve talked to us and been very apologetic. I wouldn’t have left such a bad review. If the owner sees this review, I hope he/she understands that the customer is always right that’s the difference between a good business a bad one. I am very disappointed with Great China. One more thing the waitress said they’ve been having cockroach problems for a while. I can’t believe they haven’t been shut down yet.

Foods fine. Be carefull with takeout. Not sure what they consider overstuffed, but I was charged extra even thought there was plenty of room left and the container closes properly.

OVERALL DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY Food is nasty not many options I expected my cup to least be clean i was drinking my water and then saw my cup with mildew scum i was like maybe it’s a old cup no i checked to see if i can take it off it was coming off so gross i told the lady and not even a sorry just oh do u want a new cup …. uhhhh no i had to go throw up my stomach was hurting so bad health department should be called asap

This Great China Restaurant especially the one located in Weslaco TX is the most unsanitary and the most rudest Great China Restaurant I’ve been too!! All utensils are not washed right including the plates and cups and so rude as soon as you walk in their already on you and hurrying you up to finish with lunch all they care about is charging the people and they try to get rid of people as soon as they come!
