I’m a lifelong bagel snob from NY. I travel for a living and try bagels everywhere I can. I’m happy to report that Robert and Lara Stone have produced a very good bagel!
I visited on a freezing cold January morning at open. I pulled up just after 7am and I was already customer #7. A good sign!
The shop was clean and bright. Friendly staff, thank you!
I tried a plain bagel with butter, which for me is the test of the quality of the bagel, rather than the deliciousness of sweet or savory toppings. The bagel was crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside. It was a nice full sized bagel. The taste was distinctive, which I expect based on different water quality here vs. anywhere else.
Really good stuff, and if I’m ever in Lexington again, I’ll be back!

I ordered a American garlic bagel. The seeds on the bagel were burnt to a crisp. The stinkiest nastiest thing. I could not eat it at all and it wasn’t not cheap. When getting in the car something smelt weird but I figured it would be okay. To top it off I also got a French toast bagel with cream cheese to try it. It was edible but it had been pressed together raw with the garlic at some point one side of the bagel tasted like garlic. I ate here many times years ago and I’m disappointed. I have had a lot of good experiences in the past. $10 for the bad bagel was a lot for something I couldn’t eat and didn’t have the time to return then $5 for a bagel that had a bad taste.

The way I crave GB food is crazy LOL. Literally my favorite food spot in Lex. My only wish is that I had unlimited money so I could eat these bagels 24/7/365. Also the DRINKS oh my god, they are so good. The staff are so nice and it’s always ready so quick, even when super busy. Delivery may be a little pricier, mind you I always do a larger tip for that, but its unbelievably worth it and I’ve never had an issue with my order.
Writing this review dreaming of a salt bagel with egg and cheddar cheese with a large OJ and crying because I don’t have that meal right now.
Go eat there y’all, you must!

Healthy bagel was delish but the broccoli soup was watery and the veggies were undercooked. Think 9am was too early to order it but I think they shouldn’t be serving it until it cooks down

There was barely any Lox on my NYC bagel. I’ve seen more Lox on a $14.00 bagel up in New York than here. Not to mention the bagel itself was rock hard. The Hot Brown was at least flavorful but very dry. The Melt came out decent, my son really liked it. Also 5% for employee health and wellness?

This place is great and I look forward to my Turkcranstuffel every year. Both locations are great, but Woodland staff just seems to know you, especially Danielle. She is the kindest, sweetest person. She just makes you feel welcomed and she talks to everyone. She brings a smile every day to work, rain or shine.

The atmosphere at the one off Boston road is terrific. The other location is fine. Nothing special bur always seems clean and there is lots if seating. The prices are too bad and the food is always very . I find their brewed coffee to be very bitter.

I got an everything bagel at 9 am (they open at 7). The bagel was a little bready and dry but otherwise baked perfectly. The seasoning was balanced and not burnt. Flavor was 9/10, malty and earthy but still neutral enough to not conflict with the seasoning. I would have liked it to be more fresh and moist, but overall I’m pleased.

I have never left a poor review before especially. especially didn’t want to leave one with a smaller local business but I was very disappointed with my experience. I stopped in on my lunch break to get a veggie bagel. I usually go to the local coffee shop down the street from my office but decided to try something new. (I pay $6 for this btw) I stopped in and ordered a regular bagel, the chive cream cheese, tomato, cucumber and onion. After leaving $1.50 tip it came to $14.40 which is honestly really expensive in my opinion. No drink no chips just the bagel. Service was quick. I got back to my office and it had a pile of turkey on it and next to no cream cheese. I don’t eat turkey but pulled it off and tried to eat it anyway. Super disappointed.

I tried this place for the first time and it was pretty good! They have a nice selection of bagel flavors, but when we got there around 1:30 they were already out of a lot of the more specialty kinds. The sandwiches were decently priced and I enjoyed my healthy bagel sandwich, but the orange juice was crazy expensive ($10 for a large????) even if it was fresh squeezed.
