Pleasantly surprised. The service was warm and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed. We had the butter board and the smoked board. While the food was not the most interesting of choices, there was plenty for 2 people and the included fruit were really good quality. The smoked plate was beautifully presented but would have liked some smoked meats and cheese. Very nice selection of drinks, cocktails and wine. They were out of beer and cider that night.

Sustainably sourced pure PNW flavor. I’ve never seen somewhere take the flavors of this region and combine them so creatively and deliciously. The vibe is amazing too, great place to have a conversation or date.
The cocktails are FANTASTIC too

Really wanted to love this place, and while things are plated beautifully they didn’t quite hit the mark in other ways. We felt $40 for a charcuterie board with deli-quality Black Forest ham, 6 slices of salami/crackers wasn’t quite worth it. We make boards at home and wanted to have an elevated experience but didn’t get what we were hoping for. The server was also interesting. Handling our straws raw after holding menus, and being delivered dirty silverware isn’t the best. We felt the ambiance was great, but warning for those who don’t like dead animals: there were pelts/bones of animals around the place which was even a bit off putting for us and we usually wouldn’t mind. But eating with a pelt of a dead animal 1 foot from your head isn’t necessarily appetizing. Drinks were great!

Ordered a $16 breakfast of scrambled eggs, country potatoes, and bacon. Asked for extra crispy bacon. Received cold dehydrated potatoes. My guess is they were leftover potatoes from whenever and they were, at some point, heated up in the microwave one too many times and set aside. Some of the bacon was cooked okay, some was burnt to black, and some was raw. Like a single piece had all three cooks. I immediately told the waitress the potatoes were cold and hard and she said she’d bring me new potatoes. Yes they brought me out fresh potatoes but by the time they did that, I was finished with my eggs except for one bite. I, as I’m sure many do, like to eat my food items together at the same time. They took $1.15 off the tab. Whoop-de-doo. A Cook or Chef or whatever he was that feels what was sent out of the kitchen was OK to serve a customer, should retire from cooking. Very unhappy experience with the breakfast food. Don’t know what their dinner service is like as I’ve never had dinner there and I’ll never go back, but they should refrain from serving breakfast again to anyone. Goes to prove that nice atmosphere and expensive look don’t guarantee good food.

Today I had the privilege of visiting Grazing Oregon for the first time. I was having a tough day, just another day in my life, but that was all about to change. While waiting for my friend to arrive, the owner seated me and we struck up a conversation. She took a seat at the table with me, and I was touched by her kindness. I share this experience to highlight the profound impact of her selfless act and generosity, which completely transformed my day. She is an extraordinary individual, and I am convinced that she was simply being her wonderful self, but her conversation with me made me feel truly seen and heard for the first time in a long time. It is a powerful reminder that kindness, compassion, and empathy can have a profound impact on someone’s life. The restaurant is beautiful, quiet and unique just the way I like it. The food was exquisite, and the customer service was exceptional.
I will absolutely come back and recommend.
Thank you ❤️

What a disappointing Valentine’s experience. Understaffed, overcooked meat (I don’t blame the one cook they had he was trying) a sick waitress who spilled my drink twice, and awful food. Then added a 60$ involuntary tip on top of the 120$ tickets to get the valentines special…. Wow. We asked each other if this was an episode of punked or if it was a a scam during dinner (that took 1.5 hours to get our food) for two very unpicky people this for sure tops the list for will never go back!
The drinks were decent and our waitress tried but was visibly ill coughing and sneezing and congested and made multiple mistakes.
Yikes. I hope they offer a refund or some sort of apology those who were excited for valentines dinner there. The place is cute. They really dropped the ball with service and food quality.

Everything from the moment we walked in and even AFTER we left, we had the best experience that we have had in a LONG time! The food is AMAZING, the drinks were fantastic and the service was NEXT LEVEL. My husband and I went on a date night and it was a perfect time. We started with the Soup was made in honor of indigenous peoples day, and it was made with venison, bison and a host of veggies that were EXACTLY what the tribes ate then and still to this day. And the owner got the recipe and ingredients from one of her dearest friends who’s native american and loves to make food for the soul! We were honored to share that! My husband has been obsessing over this soup ever since lol! My husband had the Picana Steak and I had the venison steak, And once again, this food was absolutely amazing. Perfectly seasoned so that you could taste the flavors, without being overly salty, like most restaurants tend to do. The meat was tender and juicy, and cooked perfectly. We each had the Mango Fuego margarita, and then my husband had the Hello Handsome Martini, and I had a Lavender Lemondrop.
The drinks were the BEST that I have ever tasted in the 15 years I have been in Oregon! The Owner is NOT ONLY an amazing person, but she’s the bartender and a HELLUVA mixologist! I can’t wait to try more of her creations! We finished our dinner with a tuxedo cake and it was just like the rest of the meal, FANTASTIC! Not overly sweet so you can taste the rich and full flavor of each layer.
The music is perfect, and matches the decor. We will be back again for sure! This place is amazing! AND the owner LOVES to support her community!

I attempted to go to Brick and Mortar at 11am on a Sunday and quickly abandoned that plan after walking past a growing crowd, so I decided to try Grazing Oregon and I cannot stress enough how happy I am that I did! From the hostess, to the bartender, the unique drinks and the delicious pesto avocado breakfast that I ate every single bite of! I recommend forgetting the hype and indulging in this place. The atmosphere is inviting and thoughtful and it has easily become one of my favorite places in Albany!

They have a very small sign on the front door that says “reservations prefered” which should say “RESERVATIONS REQUIRED”.
I stoped in to inquire about the restaurant and review the menu and became intrigued. I asked the hostess to to tell me about the establishment which she explained to me that they were a restaurant that uses every bit of food they bring in so that there is no waste. She also explained to me that they serve local sourcd ingredients and food. I became more intrigued and asked if they could accommodate seating me since they were a “reservation preferred” restaurant. She went and talked to her manager which seemed to take quite some time to get approval to do so, probably because they had several different reservations pending for the evening but she also stated that they were very slow for that evening as well. They accommodated my seating, and after I reviewed the menu further I decided what I wanted to have. The server stated that the items that I wanted for the main course was not available and that they only could serve me the most expensive thing on the menu, elk rib.
While I’m sure that this is a fine dining establishment. It is very clear to me that after my experience and reading through some of the reviews that this is a restaurant that is operating on razor thin margins and are unable to accommodate on the fly, blue line meals to walk-in customers. Furthermore I got a sense of a hoity-toity type atmosphere after my observations and experience.
I immediately, politely, and quietly excused myself.
I do understand that it is tough to be in the restaurant industry these days but if you really truly want to make a profit it would be best to serve all customers coming in through the door regardless of whether they have a reservation or not.
If you want to be a reservation establishment do you expect for your customers to know what they are going to eat before they arrive???
After totaling up the items that I was going to order, I figured my bill for one person was going to come to about $85… This would have included an appetizer $15, main course $40, beverage $15, and glass of wine $15…
Plan for a $200 evening for two including a modest tip…
Unfortunately I will not be revisiting this establishment, the entrees provided seem to be very interesting and may have been very good.

4 of us went for brunch on Saturday. We all got something with eggs, and all of our egg dishes were completely unseasoned (no salt or pepper etc), which is weird because the potatoes on the side were salted fine and tasted perfectly good. There wasn’t any salt or pepper at the table but they brought salt when we asked.
On the plus side they were happy to switch the kind of cheese for my omelette, which I appreciated. Otherwise things were just OK… the coffee was not very good, and service was unpredictable, it took way too long to get our water and coffee, but the food came out reasonably quickly.
Just a so-so experience overall, no reason for us to go back.
