Nice, quiet place to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was good, and our server, Jessie, was really nice. The only issue was that there were a handful of menu selections they were out of. All in all, we enjoyed the experience. The Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp was delicious, and the blackened red snapper was also. We were too full for dessert, so we carried it out. The Reese’s Peanut Butter cheesecake was to live for, yummy!

We stopped for a beverage at the bar and had some carrot cake. That carrot cake is worth the drive off the interstate for sure. I’ll probably stop every time I come through Wytheville for that!

Ate at the bar, same menu. Food was very good. A man at the bar asked us to share his carrot cake, didn’t kno him, but he asked and we said yes. THE BEST CARROT CAKE ever.

Really cool place, especially if you like knowing the history of places. They salad was great, and let’s be honest, they have cheese grits, so you know they have to be pretty good people. They only issue I had was I had to send my stack back twice to get it “medium”, and it was still medium rare at best…

I don’t think this kitchen knows what good food is. The Parmesan fries came out without parm, once fixed they were the only good thing we ate. We had red snapper and I wasnt excited about rice pilaf so changed out my sides to fried brussels and cheesy grits. The brussels had no flavor and the grits were dry and looked like they were scraped off the bottom of the pot, also flavorless. The carrots were all right. For some reason we weren’t able to switch out the sides but had to pay extra for all this food that was lack-luster at best, barely edible actually. The snapper was alright but nothing great. We come through here every year and last year it was not great, this year even worse. I think we’ll just stay somewhere else next time. Shame bc the hotel is lovely!

We were traveling through and so glad we chose Graze on Main for dinner. Everything we ate was delicious. We started with the fried oysters and tomato basil bisque. The bisque was exceptional – creamy but still light, like it was whipped. The oysters were lovely. We then ordered a vegetable platter with grilled asparagus, broccoli rabe, and Brussel Sprouts. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. But the star was the shrimp and grits which was different than any we’d had. Not cheesy but with a brown gravy and red and green peppers and sausage. Very tasty. Our server was great too. All in all, we highly recommend Graze on Main.

What a great dinner we had here tonight! I had the rainbow trout special, and my coworker had the filet. Both were truly excellent, including the sides of Brussels sprouts, fries, asparagus, and broccolini. The carrot cake dessert was huge but also amazing. Cocktails were delicious. Our server Danielle was so attentive, friendly, and fun! She had great recommendations for dinner, dessert, and drinks and was never far away. Phyllis, the hostess, was a riot and visited our table a few times to chat. Even the cook stopped by to see how our meal was and really made us feel at home. Altogether it was a delightful night with great atmosphere, delicious food, and one of the warmest and most welcoming dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’ll certainly be returning next time I’m in town!

I stopped by for dinner. I sat at the bar so I was seated rather quickly. The bartender was very nice, provided great conversation and was well versed with the menu. The food was amazing and the prices were good.
