I love Gray’s! The food is always incredible and I appreciate that they always use locally sourced ingredients and change their menu seasonally based on what’s available. The prices are high but I feel like you get the quality you pay for. The wine is great and the staff is knowledgeable about it. My only issue is that lately the music has been loud and I can barely hear the person I’m sitting with. If I wanted to scream I would go to a bar. Still the best spot in southie for a tasty, fresh meal.

Food was great, the flavor was really there! Service was okay. Vibes were off.. For the price we paid for, not sure I’d go back.

Not enough good things to say about this spot – the food was EXCELLENT (tuna crudo, cheeseburger with fries, arancini and a pretzel baguette) and service was also stellar (Cici moved my girlfriend and I to a window seat since we were a little cramped at the bar). We will absolutely be coming back here – highly recommend this spot for a date night or when meeting up with a friend.

Okay this place with all the buzz. Guess what I thought of it?! Pretty solid! Ambience reminds me of what those parties that Freddie Mercury probably went to in that movie.
Wines: a bit dry for my taste, wish they had more glasses options rather than whole bottle.
Food: steak frites. In and around my mouth. Portions were a bit small but the cook was perfect and the fries are solid. Unconventional chimichurri but I thought it was fun and different so I’ll take it. Shove it down your gullet and say thank you.

My friends and I had a great experience here. The ambiance and decor is spot on and a very welcomed change from the rest of the bars and restaurants in Southie. Because there were 6 of us, we shared most of the menu which I would recommend doing so you can try various dishes. Eggplant isn’t usually something I order, but it was one of my favorite dishes we had. Would highly recommend getting this. The other group favorites were the Grays Board, Yukon Potatoes, Rock Shrimp and Steak Frites. The wine selections were also extensive and delicious although it’s been a few months since we went so I don’t remember what we ordered. We took the recommendations from our waiter for the wine. Looking forward to heading back there when it’s reopened!

The best wine bar in the city! Relaxed atmosphere, good music and exceptional service!
Oh and delicious dinner menu to accompany wine. If one doesn’t feel like drinking, have a house made lemonade!
Outdoor and indoor seating available!

So this is funny, I’ve been here so often but somehow have never given it a rating. Maybe subconsciously I selfishly wanted it to stay a hidden gem… But the owners and staff are so awesome that I’m going to go ahead and get this in the system. The food is fresh and amazing (whichever arancini style is in season, it will always be better than any Italian place you’ll go to, believe me) the wine selection is constantly pushing boundaries and challenging us (my husband and my introduction to orange wine years ago), and the staff friendly and knowledgeable (love you guys). If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out on one of the best dining experiences in Boston.

Came on a late Saturday afternoon – lovely sitting outdoors to enjoy the fall weather. I wish there were more selections of wines that were available by the glass, but great service and really enjoyed the relaxed environment. Burrata was okay, but really enjoyed the charcuterie board, and the grilled bread was amazing. Got a glass of the orange wine, some sparkling and a rose, all of which were good. Prices a little high, as is the case with most places in this area. Would recommend checking it out.

The hidden gem of southie – everything you want from a neighborhood spot… warm, welcoming staff, perfect atmosphere, a small menu of very well executed dishes, and always an interesting wine selection. Thoroughly enjoy every visit I’m able to make here

My boyfriend and I try to come to Gray’s Hall every Tuesday for their $1 oysters, and our sever Hailey is a big part of why we keep coming back. She’s always so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Her service is consistently exceptional, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her guests. Gray’s Hall is our favorite neighborhood spot. We can’t recommend Hailey and Gray’s enough.
