I took my 2 children there for breakfast on our way to Traverse City. Simply put, the food is amazing and the staff workers are awesome at what they do. I actually got emotional because of how comfortable I felt when the food was delivered. This world isn’t getting any better, but when I saw everyone’s genuine happiness and quality of work and food, it reminded me when I was young and everyone seemed full of hope and kindness. I will absolutely return here whenever I am near Grayling!

Really good breakfast! My western omelet was stuffed full. My wife enjoyed a BLT breakfast sandwich and the people next to us were raving about the cinnamon roll pancakes! Was super busy but they handled it really well. Very friendly staff and atmosphere.

Quaint little place in downtown. The wait was about 20 minutes at lunch rush. But they offer pagers so you can walk around the nearby stores. The tables are tight, but manageable. Service was friendly, fast and efficient. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Its a local diner. Nothing special. Not sure why its rated so high on Google. Bathrooms could use a good overhaul & cleaning. The French onion soup was microwaved… the burger was great though they charge for all items you add. The pancakes were good though they were a bit overcooked.

Cool old school diner with counter service. Very warm friendly service. My BLT was perfect and mushroom soup was creamy – I’d go for larger pieces of mushroom – and was served with tasty homemade croutons.
Prices very reasonable, and I don’t think you can get a bowl of soup for $3.99 anywhere else.

This place was packed. We were seated very quickly. The food smells amazing walking into the restaurant. The menus were small, and looking around the restaurant at 2pm. breakfast seemed to be the favorite dish. So we ordered breakfast. It came exactly how we ordered it. All the food was amazing. Our wait staff is so nice and friendly. Always on time with drink refills and making sure we had everything. This place was so good we’ll be back to try other items. I was so full after leaving here. Thanks, Grayling Restaurant, for the awesome food and great atmosphere.

On the way home restaurant hit the spot for location, time, and quality. We arrived at just the right time on a Friday morning for breakfast. A cute city with this cute restaurant where the locals go to eat. This is the restaurant where everybody knows your name. You can hear everyone saying hello to a neighbor or a friend. Breakfast came out without delay. Food was hot and delicious.
