My daughter and I live in Roswell, Georgia, but we’re in the area for a taekwondo tournament.
We found this restaurant on Google Maps.
The food is excellent! We shared avocado toast that was delicious. My daughter had chicken tenders and fries. I had eggs Benedict and a side of collard greens. Everything tasted great. I’ve had collard greens at about 10 different restaurants. I have to say that these are my favorite… OUTSTANDING.
Our server was very nice and polite.
The atmosphere is “modern diner” with great music playing.
I would definitely eat here again ✅️

Attended a dinner tasting last night and the service was great upon arrival til we left! The new items are a hit! Try the appetizer bread. It had shrimp and crabmeat on it. Very delicious!

This was SOOOO good and the staff was so friendly. The manager even came over to say hey. I got the wings and cakes and it both were super crispy. The pancakes didn’t even need much syrup, that’s how good they were on their own, and the perfect texture. I really hope they do wings for dinner as well because I can’t wait to come back and get them for dinner!

Great atmosphere, great service, and while I can’t speak for all of the food, that chicken and waffles was amazing. The little bits of fruit were very fresh and sweet. Amy was an awesome server, so friendly.

Coming up to the restaurant, it looks like it’s closed but a secret treasure awaits inside! The food was absolutely top notch delicious. Best shrimp and grits I’ve had in a long time. The service was lovely and welcoming. The music was just slightly too loud for my taste at noon brunch time meal. But the music of choice, great vibes.

Hoping the food would match the promising menu, we were disappointed from the start. A Grade B health rating was the first thing we saw as we arrived 10 minutes before opening. Still, we were the first patrons and opted to sit on the deck to enjoy the beautiful day.
While our waitress was phenomenal and offered great recommendations, the food was a letdown. The fried deviled eggs were filled with a surprising amount of raw onion, and the strange breading was an odd off-putting texture. The large breakfast potatoes lacked any flavor, and the shrimp in the shrimp and grits were so overcooked they were rubbery.
The most disappointing dish was the red velvet chicken and waffles. I expected a firm, sweet waffle, but what I got was soggy, flavorless, and full of strange black flakes. It was impossible to even pick up with a fork. The only saving grace was the omelets, which were massive and flavorful.

We went with a group of friends. This is a family owned restaurant. The food is DELICIOUS, true southern food with great portions. The fried chicken and fried pickles were exceptionally tasty. This is great comfort food and all food is fresh/made to order. Wait times were a little bit longer than other restaurants but the food is fantastic so well worth the wait. I feel that staff is still ironing out details and some waitress’s are still learning the menu, but overall we will be coming back. The inside has tons of seating and is clean. Nothing fancy on the inside, but peaceful. Give them a shot!

Service was awesome
Food for lunch was overcooked and overseasoned. Soul food is made with love… not over seasoned… also … there wasn’t any alcohol available… the best thing were the deviled egg…but even those needed more devil… presentation was absolutely awesome but looks were very much all this food is worth… a good look…

I was in town for my middle daughter’s dance competition and my oldest daughter expressed her interest in trying out this spot for brunch yesterday. I believe it’s a family owned business which is #1 in my book. We were greeted when we came in and had a great server. It was her 4th day and she did very well. She was very attentive. I tried the salmon patties and the first bite took me back to Grandma Irma’s house in the country!! Amazing!!! I also enjoyed my shrimp and grits that tasted like it came straight from the Lowcountry!! Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. The place was spacious and not noisy but just right.
