We split the cheddar, onion ring burger and a taco salad (haven’t had one in many years) with meat subbed for beans. Both were good and I was pleasantly surprised and pleased that the salad came with a fair amount of nice spring mix and other veggies. Burger and fries were good too, cooked perfectly medium.
We honestly didn’t expect much since it’s mainly a bar, and we were okay with that, but we were pleasantly surprised. The salads we ordered were pretty tasty, and the portions were generous. We also really appreciated how friendly and welcoming the bartender was.
Yes, the place has a very local vibe, and in the evening, you’ll likely see a few regulars hanging out — but don’t let that scare you off. Everyone was chill and friendly. If you find yourself on the road late like we did, we definitely recommend stopping by for a bite.
The Cowboy Burger and Cobb salad were excellent! Even the side salad was awesome! The house-made dressing was so tasty!
Thank you!
I included a picture of a board. It’s like a give and take board. People donate money. If you’re short or you need something for your order, you can take some of the money off that board, and next time me and you can add extra money to the board. It’s pretty cool.
Daniel our waiter was phenomenal. Maybe it was a slow night. Maybe that’s how they treat everyone, but the service, friendly smile and just overall vibe from pretty much everyone there.
Definitely going back you should check it out too
Service was not so great but also, not awful. It just took a while to get servyas we could not sit at the bar. Only one table that’s not high top & wheelchair accessible.
Bathrooms are wheelchair accessible-ish.
However, food was GREAT.
Chips and salsa were delicious.
I had the lamb sliders and it was AMAZING !
My little sister had the chicken pot pie and said it was over seasoned. Mom had the enchiladas (and they gave her rice even though she asked for none.) Dad had french dip and seemed happy !
Over-all, not worth $106 for food + drinks BUT could be with just a little bit better service.
Would come here again for the lamb sliders when I roll through Ennis on my next fishing trip.
Had the wings and fries (side of fries was larger than I expected) wife had the enchiladas. And some friends had the fish and chips.
Service was good but at the end we didn’t really talk to our waitress, and then it was like they were rushing us out. The busser about took my water glass out of my hand because they needed our table.
Just felt it was on them to leave us sitting there forever and then rushing to get us out wasn’t the greatest.
