Don’t like to write negative reviews, but unfortunately food was very bland. Great variety but not much taste. I will still give another try as they recently opened up. Overall I like the ambiance.
Overall very satisfied.
We opted for the buffet, but sadly, every dish lacked flavor. The service was just average—we constantly had to remind the staff to refill the buffet, which was frustrating.
Since it’s a new restaurant, we understand that it might take time to refine the flavors. However, it will need considerable effort to meet the expectations of true food lovers. Hopefully, they improve soon!
We hosted an event here back in June for around 90–95 guests. While the food was excellent and enjoyed by everyone, several issues made the overall experience disappointing.
Staffing & Setup:
We were told we’d have two servers, but only one was provided, and that server was in and out for most of the event. We also had to move some tables ourselves, and the event space was not properly cleaned ahead of time. There was a slippery area we had to ask them to clean, the floor wasn’t fully swept, and the tables weren’t set as promised (they had mentioned they would set the tables with paper napkins).
Event Space & Comfort:
We were told we’d get the entire restaurant due to our large guest size, but they continued to seat their own dine-in customers during our event, which impacted the overall atmosphere. Additionally, while the event room’s AC was working fine, the outer area of the restaurant (which our guests still had to walk through and some sat in) was noticeably warmer and uncomfortable. It seemed like the AC in that section wasn’t functioning properly.
Communication & Billing Issues:
Communication throughout the planning process was poor. When we paid our deposit, we had to ask repeatedly for a receipt with basic event info as it wasn’t given automatically. On the day of the event, we were unexpectedly charged extra for drinks. We were told drinks were included, but were later charged for glass-bottle drinks that were placed right next to the regular soft drinks. No one made this distinction clear beforehand. When we asked about it, we were told, “we need to make money too,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Additionally, tax was added at the end without prior notice, resulting in a surprise of several hundred dollars more than expected. We were under the impression that all taxes & any fees were included in their per head price as that is what they told us beforehand – everything was included.
Kulfi:
One thing they handled well was the kulfi. We were told it wouldn’t be part of the buffet and they kept it locked, available for guests to purchase separately, which was exactly what we asked for.
Final Thoughts:
I’d recommend this place for the food only, but not for hosting events. The lack of transparency, inadequate service, and cleanliness concerns made what should’ve been a smooth and enjoyable night much more stressful than it needed to be. With better communication and preparation, this could have been a great experience, but unfortunately it fell short in too many areas.
