Tiny location. Just big enough to buy a sandwich and hopefully not get hit with the door but their sandwiches are awesome. I will definitely go again. Prices reasonable for Aspen. Got the shakedown sandwich with sprouts, chips, Diet Coke and a salted Carmel brownie with pretzel crust. The drink and chips were expected the sandwich and brownie were excellent. Will definitely go again. Thank you

OMG, there are not enough words to describe the sandwiches here. Absolutely delicious. They are big and packed with flavor. Loved the Veggie sandwich but the Friday French Dip was phenomenal. My mouth is still watering over the thought of this sandwich. Small, quiant sandwich shop inspired by the Grateful Dead. All sandwiches are made to order so just a tad bit of a wait but you won’t be sorry. No seating. Orders are to go.

We came here for lunch during our day spent in Aspen. We split their ‘Cassidy’ panini. It was good, but could’ve had more olives and pesto in it. The sandwiches are made fresh to order, so expect to wait 10-15 minutes for your sandwich if there’s a long line. The prices were very affordable for Aspen. They have a little bit of outdoor seating only. You can only order inside. They give you a discount if you pay with CASH!!!

The sandwiches are consistently fantastic. I especially like the Dark Star panini. Every sandwich is named after a Grateful Dead song. It’s mostly a sandwich take out place, no indoor dining. But inside the deli are all kinds of cool Grateful Dead memorabilia. The staff are super cool and efficient.

Sure, the walls are covered with Grateful Dead mementos, and the sandwiches all have cute Dead names, but the bottom line is the food is fresh, tasty, and they will tweak it any way you like. The best tasting sandwiches at the best value in Aspen! Stopped in to grab something to save for dinner at our next campsite, and got 2 massive sandwiches fully loaded with meat & cheese for $11 each. Can’t imagine getting food in this city for any less, let alone food with bacon that stayed crispy for 5 hrs and the super flavorful capicola. Loved the vibes from the staff, our server even added paper plateware after we mentioned getting them for the road so we’d have something to eat off of.

I got to stop giving 5 stars to everybody for when I find a place like this that realllly deserves 5 stars. Great service, insane bread and the perfect ratio of meats n cheese. Be ready to find seating in the park or around the corner if needed.
