Our appetizers were the calamari and the tomato mozzarella salad. Our entrées were spicy clams the special fried eggplant and pork chop. The appetizers and entrées were delicious. The focaccia seemed to be older and didn’t have the firmness it usually does. The lemon cheesecake tart was just OK. We went around 4 PM on a Saturday and the service was great.

We were a large group at happy hour (reserved a table) and the service was excellent. The server remembered each of our orders to give us individual checks. A rarity these days. And the Happy Hour lemon drops were done of the best we all had had. Appetizers were large enough for dinner. Highly recommend!

Wow! I ordered the short rib lasagna to go and at $32 it was quite possibly the smallest portioned meal I’ve ever received from a place. A small 4×4 inch slice of lasagna with sauce for $32. Nothing else. For the price this was waste. I’m going to have to go find something else to eat just to feel full.
I would have at least thought they would have filled half the container or the whole container for the price. (No sides or other items with this)

Omg our first time here and everything was delicious! We brought our golden and sat outside, seating was great. We came during happy hour and got $5 glass of Chianti Classico. We got arancini, the garlic bread, short rib lasagna and rigatoni alla vodka with a meatball. Everything was so tasty, literally zero complaints! The short rib lasagna was so fall apart. The vodka sauce was so good. Can’t wait to come back here.

Everything was good. I liked all the food, but there was nothing I am dying to come back to get. Very fun ambiance and great service. The drinks were pretty good too, espresso martini was 8/10, a bit icy/over-mixed. Carbonara was good but way too many peppers. Gnocchi was the best.

Christina and Eric are running an excellent restaurant.
We had a fantastic meal and were lucky to get a spot in the bar since we arrive on a Friday after 6pm without a reservation.
While we waited, we asked about the place to a couple that just came in, they happened to be regulars, they gave us a whole intro to the menu which really elevated the expectations.
We ordered the old fashion and Pinot to start, both amazing… and our bar tender listened to our questions and gave a great explanation of a few questions on their drink menu.
We ordered the octopus, ravioli and lasagna… all of them were delicious and unexpectedly different than what the standard dish imagine. We loved it!!!
Sitting at the bar gave us the opportunity to make new friends.
In summary, we had an excellent dinner with drinks, in a vibrant place, had a chance to have a great conversation and meet new people, we felt like visiting a friend’s home

The best part of our experience was the wine. Everything else was downhill from there. The calamari appetizer was cooked in cornstarch, and did not match what was displayed on the pictorial.
We had the shrimp diavalo as a shared main course. We specifically requested a thinner pasta and got pasta the size of ropes. We asked them to take it back and finally ordered chicken saltimbocca where the potatoes and brussels sprouts were burnt. Three strikes we are out.

Our family had reservations here on a weeknight.
Ambiance is very casual…large tables, open bar area, brightly lit, lots of families.
Service was very good. The young woman assigned to us did a great job of making suggestions, keeping glasses filled, and checking on us often.
Food was good. The shrimp diavolo was tasty. The chicken parm was very good. Other members of our party enjoyed the brushetta, calamari, spicy clams, cacio de pepe, and hanger steak. Portions were large. Only complaint was that the pasta was over-cooked a bit. Bar drinks were very good, as well.
We would definitely recommend for a casual night of solid Italian food in a family-friendly environment.

These days, as restaurant prices continue to rise and portions shrink, Grata stands out as a refreshing exception. The portions are generously sized—reminiscent of the hearty servings once typical in traditional Italian restaurants. The food was flavorful and expertly prepared, making this place a true gem. We’ll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu. The fritto misto was among the best I’ve had in a long time. The lasagna with beef short ribs was not only massive but also delicious. And the osso buco-stuffed ravioli, topped with bits of lobster and a rich, creamy sauce, was absolutely outstanding. A real standout!

Food was ok. The chicken saltimbaca and vegetables were dry and over baked.
We didn’t expect the marinara sauce to be spicy.
We noticed their “Happy Hour” brings in alot of customers.
So, if you plan on eating there we commend making reservations.
Service was rushed.
The wrong entree was brought out by mistake. So we had to wait for the ordered entree to be made.
