We go to Hood River so many times and this is a must stop! We love Grasslands barbecue. Their food is AMAZING! Last time we got pork belly burnt ends, tri tip and sausages…it was tasty, juicy, cook perfectly! Highly recommended

I had Mexican Chorizo Sausage and a side order of Toasted Garlic Potatoes. Tasted amazing. Not too long of a line. And cook time was t long at all. Only thing was they were out of smoothies by noon. Wanted to try one but they were out :/

I was anxiously awaiting my opportunity to try this BBQ, as I moved to the area when they closed for the season. I showed up their first day back, made friends with people in line (there’s ALWAYS a line!) and was delighted with the brisket I ordered, along with a side! So delicious, super friendly guys, can’t wait to eat everything on the menu!!

Wooow what a place! We were lucky enough to get here before it sold out on a Sunday, and ordered 2 lb brisket, a Chile verde sausage, regular sausage, a pulled pork sandwich, and 1 each of the sides. Everything was extremely gourmet and unique- epically delicious Chile verde sausage, perfect snap. The lean of the brisket passed the hang/pull test easily, and was exceptionally delicious and tender. The slaw had fresh peas and grated cured egg yolk in it. I can’t wait to go back!

Oh my gosh! We ordered one of everything on the menu, and it was worth it! It was INSANE! Get there early, we did! And you’ll want to also take some burgers and sausages home that are pre-packed. Will def make the trek more often from PDX metro. Can’t wait to return!

We took a ride out to Hood River to try Grasslands Barbecue for lunch on Sunday. The food was all delicious. The pulled pork, brisket, and Hops Sausage were delicious. Hard to choose a favorite. We also had the smashed potato side and a coleslaw side. The only possible downside is that the outdoor location and a slight breeze meant that there was no bliss inducing fragrance to accompany the fine food. Expensive but worth every penny. Plus we got to share our picnic table with a lovely family from the area.

So delicious! We got the hatch cheddar sausage and the Austrian sausage that was on special. The barbecue sauce was flavorful and tangy. The sausages were done off the best we’ve had.
