This was truly one of the best experiences my wife and I have had at a Italian restaurant anywhere. Jason our waiter was patient and just one of best I have seen at selling the best dish and putting the taste in your mouth before it even arrived to our table.

After a long hard work day, this restaurant really hit the spot. Three of us enjoyed three different entrees. All the food exceeded our expectations. They have a good, complimentary wine selection. The service was fantastic. This is a locally owned family business, that is worth visiting.

Great food, great atmosphere and the best part was the service. Jason our very professional yet personable server made the dining experience go from 4 to 5 stars. He was patient and accommodating to our table and especially my very difficult-to-please Mother. The atmosphere was amazing and all courses were delicious. Everything ordered by our party of four was delicious and the chef provided an experience you could tell was derived from some old family recipes with a touch of creativity. We arrived at just before 8PM and left at 10PM which I might add is an hour after they close. We were never rushed and Jason was again patient and friendly until the end. My wife and I have a new favorite Italian spot in the Tacoma area and we’ll be back to try the NY Strip Stroganoff!

I was hoping to like this place more than I did. Cute little restaurant that seemed like it may be family owned (lots of pictures near the door), but I’m not really sure. I had a really friendly waitress and I enjoyed the Italian music playing. Didn’t much care for my side salad that came with my meal. I got pasta which they let me do half fettuccine and half pesto. I loved the pesto but was super disappointed with the fettuccine. It didn’t have much flavor. My date had a pizza with sausage that tasted really weird. He actually ended up sending it back and didn’t really care for the veggie pizza he got to replace it with. I gave this 3 stars because of the friendly service and the pesto but I will probably never go back.

This little Hidden Gem is tucked away on Bridgeport. If you want an elegant and romantic evening this is definitely your spot. With so many Big Chain Italian restaurants it is very refreshing to go to a place that’s a little Slice of Italy right here in University Place.

My family has made a habit of coming here because of both the amazing service and even better food. Like any truly Italian restaurant, this is the place to go when you want to take your time and have a relaxing, delicious meal with friends or family. The menu is small, but you can’t go wrong with anything on there (my personal favorite is the bolognese), and the wine selection is hand picked, varying depending on vintage. Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Tacoma.

This inside of this quaint and charming Italian restaurant is nicely decorated. I felt very relaxed and at home because of the very clean and friendly environment there. Rebecca is one of the nicest and most thoughtful servers you’ll ever come across. The espresso and tiramisu that I had were excellent as can be. My two friends had lunch and they loved it. This is definitely a gem of University Place.

This was my second time here. I was so excited to bring my mom on Mother’s Day eve. We left so unsatisfied and disappointed in the food and service at the end. I ordered Chicken Parmesan and Caprese salad. I do like the Caprese salad. My mom ordered spaghetti and meatballs because I had it before and loved it before. When I got my chicken Parmesan right away it didn’t look appetizing the chicken looked over cooked and dried with dried marinara sauce on it and browned marinara on the bottom. It was so horrible tasting. I had to ask for marinara sauce. On the menu it said it comes with fresh Parmesan. He brought powdered Parmesan. Even with the extra marinara it was still dry and terrible. The broccoli looked old. I don’t like broccoli that is turning yellow.

Atmosphere nice. The prices appeared high. I ordered a traditional dish of chicken Marsala that was oh so heavy and unrecognizable. It was a huge chicken breast breaded, overcooked and covered in a heavy strong unapealing sauce. If the pasta was good it was lost. I could not eat it. The take out container ultimately went into the garbage. I do not plan on revisiting.
