Goddard Technologies, Inc recently used Grass Markets for an in-office catering event, and it was a huge hit with our team! Employees were raving about the food—not only was everything delicious, but it was also a much-appreciated healthier option right here in the Cummings Center. There were tons of gluten-free and vegetarian options, which made it easy to accommodate everyone. People were asking where the food was from so they could order lunch on their own! Highly recommend Grassy Roots for your next office event—you won’t be disappointed.

Oh my goodness!
I was driving through the Cummings Center in Beverley and realized that it was lunchtime and I needed something for lunch. I drove by one of the office buildings, 100 Cummings, and noticed a sign in the window that said Grass, Market sandwiches, salads, etc. I was like OK sure, I’ll grab a sandwich.
I walked in and then saw that they had a lot of ready, made sandwiches and soups, and salads, and I was ready to walk out because I needed to have some thing made fresh for me as I’m a pain in the neck and don’t eat a lot of the garnishes that are put on sandwiches. The woman behind the register asked if she could help me.
I told her it was my first time stopping in and that I was curious if I could get one of their sandwiches made my way. She indicated that the one that I referenced was premade this morning, however, she offered me two other options.
The one option that she offered me was the Caprese Panini, which I added chicken. This was the most delicious sandwich I have had in a very long time.
The Panini itself was amazing, the chicken was so so tasty, then the basil and the mozzarella I mean really what more can I say.
I’m not sure how long they’ve been there, though I do know it is indeed owned by an individual that really needs the support of the community to stay in business.
That’s the way these small local shops operate. They need us to support them so that they can continue offering us such amazing food!

Grassyroots is such a gem to have here at the Cummings Center! The food is always fresh and delicious made with healthy ingredients. Lindsay, Nicole and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Cannot say enough about how awesome this place is!

Have been in the Cummings Center for 10 years, and have been bummed that there are limited healthy food options in the complex. And that’s saying a lot as there are something like a total of 1,000,000+ square feet of office space.
I had heard about the Grass Market and wanted to give it a shot. Ordered their Buddha Bowl to go: beets, chickpeas, cauliflower and broccoli on mixed greens. Light salad dressing. And it was terrific – fresh, delicious – will definitely order again.

The food is great! It’s made fresh everyday. Their coffee is also delicious! The staff Lindsay and Nicole are the best! Always friendly and helpful .
