Excellent starter and very good atmosphere. It wasn’t too crowded so you’re able to have a conversation without any problem. We ordered the fried polenta but that wasn’t great. The pizza was quite tasty but the dough base was a bit hard. And difficult to cut. Not sure if it was a one off or a bad batch, we only went there once. The restaurants around the canal are not that cheap but are not too overpriced, noting that Denmark isn’t cheap to eat out!

We had our dinner at this place during our stay in Aarhus. The pizza was truly delicious! I savored every single bite of it. The homemade grape lemonade was incredibly refreshing, especially on such a hot day.
However, the prices were quite high. We paid 160 DKK for each pizza, which, in my opinion, is a bit steep considering their size.
The service left much to be desired. The waitstaff seemed disorganized; we waited for quite a while to place our order, and they even forgot about one of our pizza orders, resulting in additional waiting time. It took about 15 minutes for someone to finally clear our dishes and allow us to pay, despite the fact that there weren’t many customers at that time.
Will I be back? No, while it was a good experience to try it out, the service we received at that price point was quite disappointing and left me with a sense of misunderstanding.

Lovely chilled dining experience. Very quiet when we entered but slow filled around lunchtime. The service was relaxed and you felt you had time to sit back and relax.

This was my first restaurant stop in Aarhus. I couldn’t have been happier about that decision. I come from an Italian family and this is good Italian food! The pastas are made fresh in house, and it shows in the quality. I highly recommend this spot as a date spot, or a cool place to stop at with a friend/coworker. We sat at the bar and had great service. I’d go back for sure!
