Italian & Mediterranean fare in a homey, brick-walled eatery & wine bar with a vast vino list.

I have a gluten allergy and I decided to have dinner at Grape St., Wine bar for Valentine’s Day dinner. Although it was a beautiful experience and we got to sit on the patio and it felt very romantic and beautiful. I ordered the gluten-free carbonara pasta, and it tasted like it had no flavor. I usually do not order pasta gluten-free at a restaurant, simply due to the fact that it is so hard for some chefs to flavor it appropriately or really understand how to cook it properly. I guess that was on me. If I could do it over again, I probably would’ve went with salmon or something else, but I was with two others who thoroughly enjoyed their dinners -chicken, Parmesan and chicken piccata! They also thoroughly enjoyed the bread basket. Must be freshly made bread. The patio is so cute here. I probably would come back for a little charcuterie and wine or something. However, I would not order the gluten-free pasta here again.
Also being that it was Valentine’s Day, we had a limited menu option.

We had a $60 gift card from their previous location and even called ahead to confirm they would still honor it. We were told it shouldn’t be a problem, and the card still showed a valid balance when we checked online. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told they could not accept it because it was from the old location, which was frustrating after being assured otherwise.
We decided to stay and try happy hour anyway. Most of the dishes seemed like they had potential, but overall they lacked flavor and needed more seasoning. Nothing was terrible, just underwhelming.
At this point, I’d probably only recommend this place for wine rather than the food.

The place is in a great location, the atmosphere was great, the bar well-stocked with a huge wall of bottles, and the menu is well diverse with lots of delicious choices! We had a big party of 10 and the server had no issue splitting the bills and we weren’t obligated to pay a specific tip amount, like at other places. We will definitely go back soon!

Tad pricey for a lunch outing but a great meal nonetheless. The chicken parm sandwich was crispy, cheesy, and super satisfying – paired perfectly with the garlic fries. The seafood pasta was loaded with fresh clams, shrimp, and calamari in a rich red sauce, and the ravioli was creamy and full of flavor without being too heavy.
The wine selection was solid, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Service was friendly. Overall, a delicious stop that we’d definitely come back to!

What a great surprise! I haven’t been to downtown Summerlin in a while and I noticed many changes yesterday. One of them is this Wine bar that has such a great upscale-cozy atmosphere. I met a colleague there for a glass of wine and a chat. And it was perfect. It was just loud enough to feel lively. And hip but not so loud that we couldn’t converse across the table. Our waiter it was so pleasant, and this stuffed mushroom appetizer we ordered for happy hour is something i’ve daydreamed about several times since I ate it! I really recommend a trip to this place. The happy hour was reasonable, which I love… Allows you to try different high quality places.Without breaking the bank.

Stopped by for some pre-shopping bites and wine. The wine selection is vast and reasonably priced. The food was all very good and perfectly prepared. The baked brie and poached salmon plate were a great surprise as they were both mouth watering, beautifully presented, and paired well with our wine selection. The services was a bit delayed as it appeared they were very short staffed. Although there were lapses in water refills and checking in, the team seemed to do their best and work as a team to try and keep things moving along. Luckily it was a beautiful day so we enjoyed the patio and made the best of it.

My boyfriend and I went for Valentines Day night. Bad table seating in the front of restaurant behind hostess station and open doors with cold air. Noticed everyone in the front had to leave coats on. Salads came quick and tasted like a plate of cabbage with dressing that had no taste. Main course did not come for another hour. Food very expensive, up charged and came plopped on a plate with no presentation, salmon and sauce on it tasted horrible. They substituted sides without telling me they ran out of the original sides. Said they would bring another option and it never showed up. Then had to wait another 20 minutes for the check. They comped drinks at the end but at that point we just wanted to go. In general the amount of money they charged for terrible service, seating and food was unacceptable.

Had dinner here with our party of 7 and the service was great even for our large party. I had the baked brie, clam chowder, and scallops wrapped in bacon. My son and I shared the scallops and they brought the dish split for us. The kids got the Mac and cheese which was a penne pasta – not macaroni (FYI). Kids liked it though. Table also shared the mussels and others at the table got the Chilean sea bass and a steak salad. Everything was exceptional! And the roasted garlic bulb is so good on the bread!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was extremely bland and lacked flavor — especially considering the prices. Everything tasted under-seasoned and uninspired, and nothing stood out in a positive way.
The customer service made the experience even worse. The staff seemed uninterested, inattentive, and unwelcoming. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Simple requests took too long, and there was no effort to ensure we were satisfied.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Between the flavorless food and poor service, it simply isn’t worth the time or money. There are far better options elsewhere.
