Honestly it was just a let down. The service took a long time, but it did seem like they were taking care of some regular customers. The food was just genuinely not good.

I love Grant’s. If you want to know what the Boise area was like before the “invasion”, visit Grant’s. They were amazing when I booked for a family dinner after my son’s graduation, and they were equally amazing when I visited for my 50th birthday. Excellent service. Homegrown hospitality. Amazing eats. Thank you, Grant’s.

Ugh I brought 9 of my friends with a reservation of course and the service was so so so slow. I know our waiter was trying but they were very understaffed for a Friday night imo. My burger was good but my bfs chicken dish was over cooked & for $26 that’s not ok. All my foodie friends rave about this place but it was a big let for me. I’ll give them another chance after I try the other 50 places I haven’t gone to

What a great evening we had! First : kudos to Michael for excellent service , drink mixologist and just a smiling face! I had eaten there about a year ago, my husband had not. The food (Prime Rib) did not disappoint! We had the battered shrimp for starters…Chef, it was perfectly done, served hot with a delicious dipping sauce. Then the Prime Rib! Well, my husband said it was the best prime rib he had had in 12 years. I had the same experience I did last year, unbelievable joy! The meat was served hot and served as ordered. Humorously, my husband was going to ask for a steak knife, so not needed! Potato’s were remarkable and the squash, well, I’m sorry I didn’t run to the kitchen to discover the recipe. Just a hint of heat set it well above all others! Then, a cream brûlée that brought tears of joy to my eyes. I’m not kidding, it was the way I love it, soft and a crunchy top! We love a little hidden gem and that describes Grants Neighbor Grill to a tee! Well done you all ! Gary and Meg

We stopped in for an early dinner this weekend and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The restaurant itself was clean and had a pleasant, chill atmosphere. Food and drinks alike were delicious, you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality and taste. I especially appreciated the locally sourced and organic ingredients as indicated on the menu and was happy with the friendly service from our host. Definitely found a new favorite spot for weekend eats in Meridian.

Absolutely the best burger I have had, maybe ever. There are a couple places in my LIFE that have knocked my socks off with a flavorful burger. This place is such a sleeper it doesn’t look like a place that has the flavor game locked down so well but man it does. The only downside was that they take reservations and we had no idea how to make one. The upside is that the patio was open and the weather was so nice it was amazing.

Great little neighborhood restaurant. Cozy, inviting and delicious food. We ordered the piquillo peppers, Grant burger and mushroom swiss burger. The peppers were awesome, the burgers were juicy and the fries were hot and crispy. This would have been a 5 star rating however, the service (or lack of) was terrible. I ordered the Grant burger with no lettuce and cheese added to it and it came out with lettuce and there wasn’t any cheese to be found. My friend ordered a glass of wine that didn’t make it out until we reminded the server about it 5 minutes later. When we went to pay, the server took the card, then came back 5 minutes later and tried to offer us dessert. I would definitely come back here but the server probably shouldn’t. The service industry isn’t a vocation that everyone can work in and this is was a prime example of that.

The patio had a lot of plants and flowers along the walls which would have created a beautiful environment if there weren’t SO MANY flies. They were buzzing everywhere and idk about you, but I don’t like the feeling of flies crawling all over me. There was a lot of dropped food all over the ground, which was probably drawing them in and no effort to keep them away other than a select amount of some paper spinning machines. The wait for our food was also very long, 45 minutes to an hour, but it was a busy Saturday night. When the food finally arrived, the burgers we ordered were absolutely delicious. The only thing is there wasn’t enough dressing on the side salads. It would have been nice to get the dressing on the side, so we could pour how much we wanted.

Pleasantly surprised at the end and slightly disappointed in the beginning. Judging purely by the name we were thinking it would be a casual neighborhood grill with a variety of burgers and such and would be a good spot for us to grab a quick bite with our son. We received our drinks before the menu, which was a good thing for them because if we had seen the menu before receiving our drinks, we would have left. They have a limited and expensive menu. The kids menu is for children under 8 (ours is not in that age group) and there were limited options for our somewhat picky eater. He did end up getting a plain cheeseburger and enjoyed it but I feel it was overpriced at $13-$15 depending on toppings. My husband and I shared the green beans appetizer and the salmon entree and were very happy with our choices. The large portion of salmon was cooked to perfection. Our entree was missing the “petite arugula salad” it claims to come with but we still enjoyed the dish.

Loved the food at Grant’s and the Excellent Service! There was a lil bit of a wait, but worth it. Outside seating was Wonderful even on this hot day! The Tempura Beans appetizer and sauces were Yummy! The gravy fries were so so. The chicken salad was unique and very good! My hubby loved the pulled pork sandwich and fries! Definitely recommend trying, but be aware it is a little bit spendy and so worth it!
