Incredible, authentic, from scratch Italian food rivaling the best you can get in Italy. The weekly menu adds depth and hearing about the dishes is a neat experience.
Oh and cheap espresso actually if you need a quick one!

It’s the best carbonara we’ve ever tried! It’s well balanced, cooked by original recipe (no cream or onion(, the bacon is chewy in a good way and smoky, pasta is very rich in taste. They have a new menu every week but I think carbonara is always there so you won’t miss it. It’s a little bit prices but it worth every złoty
Also their canolli are perfect and must try. Definitely will return back!

If you think you’ve tasted great Italian pasta in Rome, think again—because Grano Duro in Warsaw redefines what handmade pasta can be. Tucked away in the charming Powiśle district, this intimate four-table restaurant is a sanctuary for true lovers of Italian cuisine. It’s not just a meal—it’s a culinary ritual.
From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and minimalist decor set the tone for a refined yet cozy experience. The menu changes weekly, reflecting the chef’s commitment to seasonal ingredients and creative expression. But the real magic lies in the pasta: made fresh daily, each dish is a testament to the slow food philosophy. The carbonara, featuring crispy guanciale and a perfectly creamy sauce, is a masterclass in balance and depth. Their ravioli, often filled with unexpected combinations like roasted pumpkin and sage or smoked ricotta and lemon zest, are delicate, aromatic, and unforgettable.
What sets Grano Duro apart is its fearless innovation. These are flavors and textures you won’t find in Rome’s traditional trattorias—this is Warsaw’s own interpretation of Italian soul food, elevated and reimagined. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options that pair beautifully with the dishes.
Desserts? Divine. Save room for the cannoli or the silky panna cotta with seasonal fruit compote. Service is personal and attentive, making you feel like a guest in someone’s home rather than a customer.
Grano Duro is not just one of the best Italian restaurants in Warsaw—it’s one of the most original. If you’re seeking handmade pasta that surprises and delights, this is your destination.

Is difficult to reach this place but is definitely worth it ! I’ve never been disappointed about any of the dish and I tried almost all menu. Congrats to the chef !
Pity to see comments which are totally not true about the owner, he is very sympathetic person, simply sometimes very busy and he does his best for the clients which he is serving ! In all of this you can see him like „unkind” or hear that there is no place – simply, because people make reservations before.
QUALITY over taking too many people and not serve them well, should be here very appreciated!
Highly recommend:)

WOW and WOW again! What an incredible place! Italian cuisine at its finest (even better than in some restaurants in Italy). The quality of the ingredients, the flavor, the presentation… everything is just perfect. The wine is delicious, and the service exceeds all expectations. This will definitely be one of those places I’ll be recommending to others. Keep up the great work, and I’ll definitely visit again!

A cozy Italian restaurant in the middle of Warsaw, this place did impress. The minestrone was comforting and large portion, with bunches of flavorful vegetables — it made me start thinking I should cook vegetable soups at home! Pasta was fresh and flavorful. Service is extremely friendly, kind and patient (he offered to explain the entire menu in English to us).

Let’s say: it was great, but not my taste. Excellent service, kind and warm. Food is fresh and presented nicely. However, the ordered pasta carbonara was too fatty for me, like really too much. Maybe it’s a true Italian recipe, then I prefer polish Italian style, definitely not fat. I would not give less stars as others things were really amazing and the glass of Prosecco was very delicious. Definitely a must-visit to create your own impression.

This place is a true gem. There are not many tables inside so the service is very personal and approachable. The chef was making sure our meal was to our liking and suggesting wines to pair with our dishes. The carbonara was majestic! It was perfectly seasoned made with creamy consistency and crispy guanciale. A real masterpiece. The piadina was also delicious and fresh. All their pasta is made in house. The prices are acceptable and according to what the dishes represent. I really enjoyed that they don’t make the drinks excessively expensive like other places do and they have a good selection that f wines and nonalcoholic drinks. It is quite a small place so I suggest you make a reservation if you want to be sure to find a table. The menu changes every week, so be sure to return. We definitely will.
