NOW SERVING BBQ!!! Granny’s Kitchen is a small takeout eatery located on the north side of Madison Wisconsin. Though Granny’s is new to the north side the food Granny’s serves has been well known. On the west side of Madison Granny’s owners have served some of Granny’s most notable dishes via their food cart “AB’s” for years!

The food could be really good. Would love a good soul food restaurant in Madison. Lemon pepper chicken needs WAY more lemon pepper seasoning but chicken is cooked well. Emphasis on the WAY MORE seasoning. Jerk chicken nachos need WAY more seasoning on chicken and a homemade cheese sauce not the generic nacho cheese. Like i said, restaurant could be very good

I saw Granny’s kitchen pop up, intrigued I placed an order for myself and the night auditor. Granny’s doesn’t say its location. After I ordered I googled the location and it’s 15 minutes away. They didn’t read the note to add cheese to the fries, when I got them, barely warm and starting to get soggy, didn’t get the cheese on either order. They showed Cucumber sauce in pic, none. Had I known it was that far away, I could of ordered anywhere closer across the street or even the mall. Disappointed all the way around, if your close, ok but they should be removed from the delivery area unless you like luke warm food and soggy fries. Driver was OK.

The food is not the best but it’s edible. I recommend the gyro. I noticed that there was an outdated ServSafe food manager license. It was a year old. I don’t have anything else to say but eat at your own risk. They also have cheap sandwiches

If you want to experience Kitchen Nightmares vibes this is the place. I wouldn’t trust any of the images posted (as well as the food tbh) from the owners, as it’s stolen from other restaurants. There is a Kwik Trip on the other side of the street and their sandwiches’ are more fresh.

Specifically stated 3x “ no cheese” servicer clarified and it was still filled with cheese I had to drive another 20 minutes there as well as back home. it was highly recommended but I am beyond disappointed in this place. Would not recommend until they either have more employees or a new location perhaps.

Ordered for the first time from here and had it delivered. It was okay.
The nachos were made with a nacho flavor dorito type chips with ground beef, sour cream, pickled jalapeños and tons of nacho cheese. When first getting it, it looks like a scam for $10 it comes in a small to go container but there are a lot of the toppings packed into the little box.
Chicago dog was typical, hot peppers and tomatoes on a regular bun.
Chicken tenders they send with BBQ sauce. They are a regular frozen chicken tender.
The big alberta burger was okay. It’s a burger patty (pretty sure it was just a frozen patty) with gyro meat (also seemed frozen) I think it was a gyro sauce, fries on the burger and lots of nacho cheese.
All items are a la carte.

Ordered food online then it was canceled called the restaurant said didn’t have items ordered. Advertised soul food sundays. Ordered 12 piece chicken it was only wings everything was cold . And we picked it up ourselves. Ripoff for a 12 piece !!
