A teeny tiny place but the AC was kicking and the food was great. We had the flounder and a cheeseburger and some beans and some onion rings. Very very good stuff. Waitress was very attentive, kept everything filled up and asked a couple times how we were. We also loved that there was no music playing, so we can actually have a conversation.

My wife and I were visiting from New York. The owner of our cabins that we were staying at recommended we go to grannies. Never before have I had such attentive wonderful service. The girls working at grannies are so lovely. The food was amazing. I felt like my mother made it for me 10 out of 10. You need to go to grannies. Do yourself a favor!

I’m rating 5 stars based on pricing, service, and the timing. I personally couldn’t eat my breakfast sandwich as I have dietary restrictions, and while most people would have been thrilled at a bonus sausage on their egg & cheese biscuit, I cannot eat red meats.

If you’re in the Asheville area (Biltmore, Blue Ridge Southern) this place is great for breakfast. It’s a little on the small side so seating can be an issue but you can get it to go. Food was great and just the right amount. Fountain Mt Dew was the cherry on top…

Yes, it looks like a hole-in-the-wall type place but that is exactly why I found it appealing. I would’ve eaten outside but the tables were full when I got my breakfast. Busy place this exquisite Saturday morning with drive-thrus, carry-outs and eat-ins. My service was efficient and very friendly!

Pop in, order at the counter, cash only. Staff is friendly, tables could be cleaner, food comes out quickly and is well prepared. The home fries were A+. Everything comes on disposable plates and plastic utensils and single serving jams, even when you’re dining in. The biscuit was too salty for me, the bacon and eggs were well cooked but weren’t great quality.
Leave your plates when you’re done for the staff to bus.

Granny’s nice local restaurant. Limited menu listed, but swear I saw fried okra but not on menu board. Not all prices listed. Picture cheeseburger and fries $9.35. I have no idea how much the fries cost because it wasn’t on the menu board. The burger was delicious but I felt for $3, 12 fries was a little skimpy.

Great home cooked meals. The sweetest ladies work here. It’s very small. They only take cash. Treat you as family the minute you walk in the door.
