Food will always get a 5 star. Nothing like good old fashion home cooked soul food that wraps your stomach and holds you tight. The young ladies were nice that took our drink orders as well as the staff from the kitchen when coming out. However, this place is in desperate need of a renovation. Bathrooms are disgusting, ceiling looks like it’s about to collapse and the walls need to be cleaned. They have a great business here that is packed every weekend, but their busines would improve 100x’s if they renovated and make the place a bit larger and easier to navigate inside. It was quite crowded and cramped. They even ran out of plates so we had to wait a few minutes. So would I return? Yes, once they renovate. Eating good food in a filthy place does not sit right with me or my stomach.

Granny’s is definitely the place to go if you are wanting a Southern home cooked meal. They have something for everyone including baked or fried chicken, baked or fried fish, southern sides, salad bar, ice cream and even some sugar free deserts. They have additional meat choices that change from day to day. When you go in you can choose your own seat and the waiter will take your drink order, refills and any condiments you may need if it’s not on the bar or table already. The staff are friendly and treat you like family. They also offer takeout where you fix your to go plate, pay and leave.

Haven’t been to Granny’s in a while..decided to go after church yesterday.. all I have to say is I WAS NOT Disappointed.. the food was delicious… our waitress was fantastic and superb.. the cost was not all that bad considering the price of so called Fast Food..Great JOB Granny’s Buffet!!!!

I heard about this place from a friend and stopped on a whim as I was passing by.
It was quite dark in the place especially around the buffet. You walk in, load up a plate from the buffet, and then find a seat. A waitress comes around and gets your drink.
I found it quite odd for a buffet but there was very little in the way of salad or vegetables. On this Friday meat choices were 3 kinds of fried fish, fried chicken, & meatloaf. I had the fish & meatloaf and wasn’t impressed with any of them. Potato salad being the only vegetable I found to try, was ok. I did take a liking to the peach cobbler and ice cream.
The buffet was about $15 for lunch with tax and definitely seems overpriced for the quality and quantity of choices. This is a one and done for me but fans of greasy fried food should feel right at home.
