What can I say!? The food was fantastic! The service was even more fantastic! Beautiful tables, great jazz music, clean, and atmosphere calming. We decided instead of buying Valentine gifts we are going to support black businesses instead. I must say the food and peach cobbler was off the chain. I had greens, spaghetti, sweet potatoes, with the HOT WATER cornbread. Bruce had smothered pork chops, rice and green beans. I found myself eating off his plate. The meat was so tender you can cut it with a fork. This place is worth coming to over and over again just to try new dishes. In comparison to the other places we visited this month, the food was best here. Again, that peach cobbler!

This is a must try! Please ignore the outside, when you walk in its an oasis, very neat and clean. I have to recommend the fried chicken and fried fish. It was so good we forgot to take pictures. For the sides our favorites were the greens and the sweet potatoes. I think the best part of the experience was the staff, they make you feel like youre welcome and at home. Loved our experience, please visit!

My husband and I came out in this cold for a late lunch. The food was delicious. I had the fried catfish with green and spaghetti and Vince had fried chicken, sweet potato and Mac n cheese. Brenda was our server and took good care of us. We will definitely go back.

I got the salmon croquettes and my friend got the liver and onions. I got mac and cheese and greens and she got mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The food was amazing, like I was back home with my family in Tennessee! The service was fabulous! From the waitress to the chef to the family members that came to the table and checked on us, it was a wonderful experience! We will be back! Thanks so much!! I pray God blesses this family restaurant with years of great business and success!!

I found this place purely by mistake. It far surpassed any preconceptions I might have had. The service was excellent. The food was great. Across the board. I would say the food was slightly under seasoned but I think that’s actually a good thing. You can always add but you can’t take away and too many of these places have food that’s overseasoned and overcooked. Portions were perfect for me. I went with my brother and he loved his catfish dinner.. I had the neck bones dinner. It was overall excellent across the board. They had dates posted with special dinner events which I’m going to give a try. Good down home cooking.

I had the fried chicken w/ Mac & cheese, green beans & cornbread & hubby had the fried catfish w/ mashed potatoes, green beans & cornbread. Also tried a sample of salmon cakes. All delicious! The restaurant is clean & it smells great. Not musky like it used to. I love to support local businesses & it’s great to have another good restaurant in Monee. I highly recommend GrannyMa’s Kitchen! We’ll be back for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A friend told me about how good the food was and she wasn’t lying. I got the fried ¼ chicken dinner with sweet potatoes , rice and gravy, and a sweet tea.
The chicken was season and breaded perfectly and remindedme of chicked in the south. The sweet potatoes had that home cook taste like at grandma’s on Thanksgiving. The rice and gravy and the corn cake taste just like I was back in Arkansas and the sweet tea was the topping. I could of drank a gallon of it.

Bought the baked chicken dinner with green beans had a chocolate milk and a water then ordered a bowl of chili to go … the chicken had no flavor and was just mush … when i received the chili it was one tbsp worth of chili that cost around $8 … the entire experience cost me over $40 … pics are of the chili i received

My wife and I enjoyed our Sweetest Day brunch. We went with friends. The food and service was amazing we were pampered the whole time. The DJ had us moving and grooving the whole time. We loved the family atmosphere and will be going back. Thanks Mary for an awesome Sweetest Day brunch. Loni & Ali
